Question: Hiliary Clinton says she will install mandatory health insurance?

Question Details: What do you think about that? I find it scary in a way. The article said that it would be mandatory for everyone to buy health insurance. There would be many kinds to choose from with tax help also. I still wonder how this can be accomplished. Can you imagine being forced to pay for health insurance and then not being able to meet the rent, car expenses, food, etc. Some people live day-to-day, check-to-check without any money for anything else. Unless the tax help would be enough to pay for the premiums?? Oh pardon me for spelling Hillary wrong. That really warranted a ...

...comment did it not? The whole health care issue is scary. We get people from Canada paying out of pocket to come to our office to have foot surgery or foot care because they've waited for months to get in to see a specialist. To THAT GUY OVER THERE - Excuse me, but what pretend Canadians are you referring to. But for HIPPA, I would give you their names, addressed and phone numbers so you could call then and ask them. These are real patients that we have in our very real doctor's office so don't tell me I'm making them up. Blue Ridge Living - good answer. Why not just state that in the first place instead of being picky about a spelling of a name.
Deleted Answer: You should probably learn to correctly spell the name of our next President, It's "Hillary." ***********************
OK, you're "pardoned." And get in a snit if you want to - if you're going to rail against a person you should at least know how to spell their name. So sorry. And I'll TELL you what is "scarier" than ...

...mandatory health insurance. MILLIONS OF AMERICAN WORKERS with full-time jobs with NO health benefits. Are you aware that we are the ONLY industrialized country in the whole WORLD without some kind of general health plan for each of its citizens? You know what's funny? All the people screaming and yelling when they don't even know what they're screaming and yelling about. NOTHING has actually happened yet - which means that WE get to discuss and decide precisely WHAT we would like to happen in the arena of HEALTH CARE FOR AMERICANS. Oh Dear God. WHAT A CONCEPT. Discussion and debate! Over an issue! Contributing ideas! Consensus among Americans! what a frikking nightmare!!!! ***********************************
EDIT: That is the danger of careless grammar and horrendous spelling. It detracts from the message. I was unable to respond to the question right away, because your "Hiliary" was screaming at me.

*************************
Now.
I ask you.
Was my answer "in violation?"

To Enigma: Well, I see the point you're making, but I disagree that I was "chatting."
"Chatting" means friendly, personal engagement. As in, "Did you see Mel Gibson in that movie last night? OhMyGod he was to die for!"
And the other poster responds in kind.
That is "chatting."
But what I did was to respond to the asker's comment to me.
If Yahoo did not intend for us to respond to each other, there wouldn't be the "Edit" feature, right? It would just be "post once and that's it."
No, I wasn't "chatting."

To "overt operative" - OK, again with the "chatting."

I don't think I was chatting. And, uh, which part was "insulting" to the asker? For real, I want to know.

To Mark A. - Hey, guess what? I'm not sure *I* want "mandatory" health care, either! I don't know WHAT I want, I just want for the issue of health care in America to be DISCUSSED and addressed.

To Steve: Please give me a reason why a "leftwing" nut would delete my answer. Please. I can't wait to hear this.

TO CANTCU: No, no, no. I didn't ask the question, I posted a RESPONSE.

The QUESTION was anti-health care plan/anti-Hillary.

To "cnsdubie" and "suthrn" - Thanks for responding. Yes, undoubtedly I have been "targeted" and rah rah America.

Let me also say that I have NO problem with people who report nasty, vulgar, name-calling, hateful diatribes. No problem with that whatsoever. But the "Reporting Trolls" have ruined this forum, you are correct.

Maybe I'll start putting a disclaimer in all my posts.....

"Please don't report me, I love you very much."

Think that would work?

I got violated for the answer "shame on you" once, so I guess there is no level to which some people will stoop just to remove comments they don't like.

Yep, it looks like you've been targeted. I was so hoping that the new 'report it' program would work, but it appears as though it's not. This is one of the reasons why I'm no longer responding to many of the questions that I'd like to.

We have trolls on both sides and they look for any TOS violations, even those that are questionable. That's one of the frustrations that we all face and it takes the fun and debate out of this forum.

Wise up people! If you're going to give out violations, don't go after the debaters (even if you disagree with opinions), go after the trouble makers, the trolls!

Sorry that this happened to you. I'm fighting some ridiculous violations myself.

Well if your first answer was just ,

"You should probably learn to correctly spell the name of our next President, It's "Hillary."

Then you violated the TOS, by not answering the question.

It doesn't really matter that you came back later and actually answered the question.

By then, you had probally already been reported for violating the TOS.

I find no violations within you actual answer.

But maybe you should have answered the question the first time, and not worried about spelling.

The TOS does clearly state that

" Yahoo! Answers is a community of questions and answers, not a chat room. If a post is neither a question nor an answer."

So in my opinion, you violated the TOS, maybe not a big violation, but a violation none the less.

Well as a "right winger" but hopefully not a troll...I have to say I found nothing offensive to Y/A policy in your answer.

You probably just ticked somebody off.

I've come to the conclusion that if you get reported for a "violation," the warning "spank" comes automatically, with the option to contest. I don't think a real person reads the allegedly offensive text. I'd urge you to contest it. (There's a link to click.)

Imagine. People in a discussion forum...actually discussing things. Oh, the **horror.** Somebody might actually... disagree ... with ... me??!?!?!? Oh NO! How will I ever sleep at night.

Not in violation.

The hooYa folks are pushing to be identified as a second tier MoveOn .org.

There is absolutely no way any company such as theirs can be as one-sided as they are while contesting they aren't.
Which in itself is an absolute joke.

Most sixth-graders are computer literate enough to resolve web-run issues like this and hooYa can't for the life of them come up with a non-stupid solution.

The morons review questions from users who they deem need watching (ignoring the blatant trolls) then give the questions a 'star' under assumed user names.

This is a technique I caught onto about a month ago and likewise noticed most the user names don't respond to questions, they only give out stars.

So if you get a question you asked starred by a user who never answers your question... Look into it. Some hide all their user data and some don't.

;)

Yes, for a number of reasons. You were chatting (a violation) and you insulted the questioner (another violation.)

btw. I've supported mandatory health insurance for years. It's about time that idea gets attention.

You can appeal it. If anyone is paying attention, you will get your violation removed and your points back.

Some people will obviously report anything. It is frustrating when a good answer is removed because the information is not conveyed.

Technically it violated the TOS. We all have answered similarly how you have but it could've been someone tired of how you answer. I rarely like how you post (negative most of the time) but I wouldn't report THAT answer. It does take more than one report to get it deleted. Somewhere around 5 reports will get it deleted from what I've heard.

***In reality, the question should have been deleted before you got your answer deleted.

Your response was perfectly appropriate, and in NO way violates the TOS.
Perhaps an earlier question got someone upset, and they chose to report you, rather than respond with facts and logic.

Not sure why this would get banned.

Personally, I don't want mandatory health care in any form I am a Con, but not a troll.
