People are always bashing the idea of same-sex marriage, saying that marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman. End of discussion. Yet if marriage is this ideal of perfect and forever bond, why is it that divorce is still allowed and at such a high rate? There are millions of people who are married two or more times. Honestly, marriage should be an option for anyone, regardless of their sexual orientation. It doesn't have to take place in a church where I do understand and respect a person's religion. But everyone is entitled to their piece of happiness and people like Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney should stop trying to please the conservative portion of our nation. We are living in a new and modern world, where so much more is now acceptable compared to 100 years ago. What do you think?

if it wasn't for the influece USSR Math and science would never be on the SAT. Americans thought that if the Russians were smart then their kids must be. also if it weren't for thier influences our military probably wouldn't be as advance. Our military grew as a result of fear of a military invasion by the Soviets. Our military constanty tried to be better than the Soviets. Don't forget about al those cool "Democracy vs. Communism" movies. Like From Russia with Love and some other classic Bond films.

There are almost 22 million Shiite & Kurdish Iraqis who hate Al Qaeda & the mostly Iraqi Sunni insurgents in Iraq who number maybe 70,000 total.

So let's see how smart you guys are. 22,000,000 Iraqi Kurds/Shiites each with an AK-47, against about 70,000 insurgents/terrorists.

Who do you think would win that war?

Great Britain initiated universal health care sometime around 1947. Since then, most European countries have too. Does that make them care more about their citizens? Are they smarter & more progressive than we are?

Everyone has a right to their own opinions. And absolutely NO ONE holds the Deed to all real estate in the United States. When someone disagrees with me about the stand I take on certain issues, and then has cowfit when I express these feelings, AND invite me to leave this country, I must laugh. And I do so because we all lease property here. Oh yes there are mortgages and some have paid off these mortages and some are mortgaged to the hilt, but in reality, none of us own squat and none of us are taking squat with us when we go.
So just stop inviting others to leave what you don't even OWN yourselves
sillies.

And when I tried to do this the ladies at the office told me that I could no longer make a name change through the Social Security office because the laws have changed and that was a while back ago. I wanted to go back to my Maiden name. I'm now thinking that this might not be the truth and that I can still make a name change through the Social Security Office. Can you please tell me if I can or not? Thanks a lot and God Bless.

Every company has affiliation with the elite trash from the "old-boy" upper eschilon of society. They've gotten their shill elected and started a war to sell unlimited war products and reconstruction projects worth billions. The best "legit" scam perpertrated on assinine citizens who are too naive and unworldly to know how the rich operate. It's all in the history books, look under "building empires."
