myself. the first thing i would do is stop spending billions of dollars on wars and covert operations the world over in the interest of big businesses. instead i would focus on building the things this country needs to be 'the world power' by our own right. things like education, healthcare, infrastructure, and as much energy independance as we can buy. we have plenty of resources in this very country that we don't need to be exploiting the rest of the world to be successful. we have devolved into a nation of ignorance and bliss! additionally, we have no god-given right to foist our political ideology, religious / philosophical values or culture on the rest of the world. if those people want to overthrow thier dictators, they can do so themselves the same way we did in 1776.

Since I have to pick a liberal....I guess Joe Liberman? Not too keen on any Lib being president. Makes my stomach turn just thinking about it.

Joseph Leiberman. He is a man of character and principle. He uses his own mind rather than sticking blindly to a party line. He is responsive and honest to his constituents.
