Everyone has a right to their own opinions. And absolutely NO ONE holds the Deed to all real estate in the United States. When someone disagrees with me about the stand I take on certain issues, and then has cowfit when I express these feelings, AND invite me to leave this country, I must laugh. And I do so because we all lease property here. Oh yes there are mortgages and some have paid off these mortages and some are mortgaged to the hilt, but in reality, none of us own squat and none of us are taking squat with us when we go.
So just stop inviting others to leave what you don't even OWN yourselves
sillies.

some of you sit there day after day pecking keys and wondering where your next mortgage is coming from..or even a next steady paycheck.
then you have the nerve to condescend to others because of what they believe or because they DISagree with you.
so just hush

I detest the policies of 'your' president.I cannot stand the man. I am a young female who, at sometime SOONER than later, aspires to change the world. In doing so, I must change the United States. (for the better of course)
And I intend to do so,.

Yeah I hate when someone says "Then get out if you don't like it." They say that to me because I'm atheist, it bothers me some, but I deal with it because I know I'm not alone and I know that I have a right to be an atheist.

It is not the complaining about a lot of things going on in the US today. Hell, I do that myself.

What gets me are those people who really bash the US saying what a bad place it is to live in, etc.

Some of these should spend some time living, no visiting, but living in some other country and not one that is highly development economically and culturally.

I lived in an African country for three years. I liked the people and the country (not its politics, but it was going through a rough time getting adjusted to their new found Independence). So even though I enjoyed my stay there I learned a lot about what I missed in the US.

All people love their country although they may be in disagreement with the way things are being done but that does not constitute anyone telling them to leave.

Unfortunately, politics just like religion brings out anyone and everyone when chaos and turmoil are present. Chaos in itself causes some people to be more chaotic than others and so their rational side falls to the irrational, their behavior may become unnecessarily childish as their fears take over, whatever those fears may be.

I rarely use that term, but I do use it. When people are complaining about everything that America is, then I invite them to leave, but only after I show them that they have absolutely no plan to improve the "problems" that they are complaining about.

If they hate everything about America, they SHOULD leave. There are places that I am sure they would love somewhere in the world. Why live in a place that you loathe?

netjr...I will not leave is Hitlery is merely elected, however I will immediately pull out of some of my investments in this country and move them off shore. If universal health care passes, however, I am gone. This is not empty spouting. There is no way I would stick around while taxes explode and health care quality plummets as it has everywhere socialized health care is instituted.

Actually I hit the startup biotech lottery a few years ago and I guarantee you that I own my property. Show up and I'll prove it to you.

'America - love it or leave it' was a popular bumper sticker during the 60's It was a quicker way of saying 'my country right or wrong, but my country nonetheless.'

Opinions are like butt holes.Every one has one, and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks.

that was ruled on in a case in the us supreme court. basically the law that is followed was likened to someone yelling "fire!" in a theater. that can trigger a panic and loss of life. you cannot cross that line. otherwise, you are free like The Constitution says. Here, you are unlikely to meet that test no matter what you post. Hold a 100,000 member protest in the street denouncing the government and calling for violence and you might have trouble. happy trails to you partner.

Love it or leave it has been a slogan used by just about every "side" that is out of power in America for a few decades now. The idea behind it is quite clear and some times people actually promise to leave if things don't go there way - some do. I believe Johnny Depp moved to France after Bush's first election though Alec Baldwin said he was joking about leaving the country if Bush was re elected and he didn't. There are probably some conservatives that say they'd leave if Hillary got elected. Those comments are just as silly as "love it or leave it."

I believe that if people don't like this country, they should go somewhere they like. Disagreeing is one thing, but disliking this wonderful country is another. I'm a legal immigrant to this country. I am proud to be an American and everytime anyone, be it American or none American, says something bad about this great nation, I tell them to go where they are more comfortable than here. AND THAT IS THE TRUTH.

Most of the people that 'disagree" I have talked to seem to hate the Country. If I felt that strongly about hating my Country I would not be a hypocrite and stay, but would have the courage of my convictions and leave.

Getting rid of the inconveinant people is easier than solving problems.

YOU seem to be a bit sensative about people disagreeing with you.

It's easier for some people to tell you to leave rather than to listen to what you have to say. By the way, what do you have to say about being here. You never mentioned that.
