To many. The GOP war is making some companies rich. I really hoped the midterm elections of 2006 woke up the GOP. I was hoping the continued dwindling polls in their favor would spark something. I was optomistic when well respected conservatives like Newt, Warner, and Alan Greenspan spoke out against where the country is heading. Still nothing. I am really starting to wonder if anything can be done until after the 2008 elections.

Yeah.... we should go and free a people and protect our nation using Nerf bullets and bubbles! We should also buy those products from foreign companies so we don't recoup any of the costs in this country or employ our Americans... then after we "Nerf" them all we should have no part in helping them rebuild to a modern day standard. Stupid third world country... those oppressed people deserve nothing from us.
Good point! and very compassionate!

None that weren't already Billionaires.
Little known fact: Neither Bush, nor Cheney, have received one dime from oil companies in any form, since the pair took office.
The pair both worked in oil BEFORE they took office, and have no ties to it now, other than it being a former occupation.
