You can when you're 18. Apartments wont allow a 17 year old to rent an apartment without a co-signer. You're young, stay at home. . .

Moving out is totally different than running away. At 16 you can get a drivers license with parent's consent and you can move out at most any age in Texas with parent's consent. I know children at ages between 10 and 15 that moved out with parent's consent to their grand parents homes ... that is a legal and lawful move out. Circumstances are circumstances and the contractual agreements MADE OR CREATE THE LAW ... Hope this helped. Peace; Aintmyfault .

Your parents can call you a runaway until 18 unless you are emancipated.

If your grandmother lets you stay, she could be charged with "Interference of Custody", a crime.

I would suggest you work it out with you parents to go as if you don't they will find you and bring you back!

Many parents could care less, most do. If there are other issues going on you need to talk with someone who can help. If they are just strict, that won't be good enough IF they want you to come home!!
