Do you need to be incredibly smart to get into any of the Military Academies and is it really difficult once youre in?

What GPA through high school? What kind of SAT? Not looking at any of the physical requirements, just about all of the mental things.

President Felipe Calderon blasted U.S. immigration policies on Sunday and promised to fight harder to protect the rights of Mexicans in the U.S., saying “Mexico does not end at its borders.”

The criticism earned Calderon a standing ovation during his first state-of-the nation address.

“We strongly protest the unilateral measures taken by the U.S. Congress and government that have only persecuted and exacerbated the mistreatment of Mexican undocumented workers,” he said. “The insensitivity toward those who support the U.S. economy and society has only served as an impetus to reinforce the battle … for their rights.”

He also reached out to the millions of Mexicans living in the United States, many illegally, saying: “Where there is a Mexican, there is Mexico.”

Interesting, isn’t it? Calderon can’t even make that boast good in his own country! Millions of Mexican citizens live in areas not controlled by the Mexican government but by vicious, murdering drug gangs. His control over his own capitol is also in question since the speech where he uttered those inflammatory words was not delivered at the Mexican Capitol building, the San Lazaro, where tradition dictates it be given, but rather at the National Palace (Palacio Nacional). This is due to the opposition’s blocking him from making the speech at the capitol, claiming Calderon rigged the election that brought him to power.

Of course, he’s counting on the fact that his fighting words will create a backlash from illegal immigrant opponents which will gain sympathy and support for the lawbreakers from legal Mexicans and naturalized citizens here in America. This will only serve to put more pressure on the Democrats and President Bush to pass an amnesty bill sooner rather than later.

No doubt, many will overreact to Calderon’s carefully calculated insult to American sovereignty and thus play into his hands. But actually, this is truly pathetic from the Mexican President. He is reduced to political tricks in order to get the American government to acquiesce to immigration reform.
He can brag as much as he wishes about Mexico claiming sovereignty over anywhere in the US that an illegal immigrant is breaking the law. But in the end, his rhetoric is as empty as his head if he thinks that anyone actually believes such nonsense.
If Mexicans living in America are part of Mexico then let Mexico’s national healthcare system pay their medical bills and mortgage defaults and let Mexico incarcerate the rapists, drug dealers, and other felons living north of the nonexistent border.

Oh yeah, and those anchor babies aren’t Americans after all, are they???

so here`s the deal:

i just don`t get it- on what basis do you LEGAL people keep whining about how you are tired of covering the azzes of illegals with your TAXES?

as an illegal person she has no acces to ANY of those social benefits...we work at the same place and she gets paid twice as less as an illegal...ok, she gets to keep all her money- she doesn`t pay no taxes....but then agian SHE DOESN`T HAVE NO SOCIAL BENEFITS AND SHE IS OK WITH IT..

like she`s got some health troubles- it means she has to pay 200 everytime she goes to see a doctor, 700 bloodwork and other med. bills..like last time her med bills totaled 5360...though she is paying all of that...

the question is- HOW ARE YOUR TAXES BENEFITING HER? she just doesn`t need them...

now..i know for a fact that some Shaniqua`s got 3 kids and doesn`t work at all...if anything, they start whining about discrimination and all that...am not saying all of them...but enough of them..like there was a black girl who was

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not nine months ago there were missle tests and underground nuclear explosions (sort of). Now they're dismantling their nuclear program and being taken off the state sponsored terrorism list. No invasion. No lives lost. No spending hundreds of billions (nearing one trillion) of dollars on some ridiculous occupation.

Diplomacy.

Even $2 billion dollars a year in aid is a whole lot cheaper than an invasion...

My girlfriend tells me to make a right to get onto the highway and I crossed 3 lanes and just as i was about to make a right my gf says theres no turn on red ( I live in long island..you can turn in certain cases on red). I hit the break hard enough for me to stop. All of a sudden i hear a car screatch behind me. It was a cop!! Got scared since i thought it was going to hit me. I moved up just a bit cause of the fear especially after seeing the cop lights. The cop tells me that my car lights were off(main reason why i think the cop was chasing me). He tells me to get out of the car to see if i was drinking. I didnt worry about that after that he left me go back to my car. Few min later he gives me a ticket for turning on red where prohibited. I didnt know what to do so i didnt say anything. I know i stopped on time and my gf agrees too! what should i do? go to court and get a free lawyer to explain my situation? Im afraid hes going to win just cause he is a cop.
