1. Can I sign up my sophomore year in college and take it? I didn't sign up freshman year and regret it.

2. What can I do to prepare for becoming an officer? My run time is 19:30 to 22 min for 3 miles. I am physically fit and moderatley strong though I could improve my strength. Any tips?

3. Can I still call myself a Marine?

4. Do I still get to wear the blue uniform with the white hat?

5. Is it a lot better than going in as a plain, enlisted Marine Reserve? What are the benefits of doing that over enlisted?

6. What do you have to do during the Summer and can I fit that in with school? Enlisted Marine Reserve I heard requires 13wks and I can't fit that in the Summer without it overlapping into school.

The truth is that illegals will take any jobs they can get..

You can be educated and skilled and lose a good job and have to take any job you can get in the US unstable economy. At least for a time. Many people have been through it. Illegal populations are much higher in some places like in the southwest and they are more competition for "any" jobs there. And black americans and hispanic americans are the most affected by competition with illegals for the "any" jobs.

So I think we can can call this a myth. And say that there is a real problem with this and that some US citizens are really hurt by illegal immigration.

I don't have an answer. I do know that it will not be solved by big arrests and deportions of illegals or building a wall on an imaginary line. Those are simple minded ideas that appeal to some people on an emotional level. And to hate on illegals is bad and stupid.

Any ideas for this?

My aunt is a psychopath. She was a spoiled brat as a child. She is a neurotic, self-absorbed monster who has managed to alienate much of the rest of my family, yet she has always managed to manipulate us into catering to her needs while offering nothing in return.As my 90+yrs. old grandmother's health has continued to worsen my aunt has refused to contribute her share toward her healthcare, leaving the financial burden solely on my father. This despite the fact that he has gone as far as to rescue her from abusive relationships in the past. She has broken my heart in that she has kept me from seeing my little cousins whom I adore, knowingly taking advantage of my own clinical depression in attempt to use me as a pawn against my father. Now she responds to my heartbreak with slanderous accusations of my 'stalking' her. I keep advising my father to sue for her share of my grandmother's healthcare, but he refuses. Please. Is there some way I would have a case for suing her myself?

Well, i am just wondering cause everytime i look at a paper or yahoo it's WMD, it just seems like someone is out to kill us...

About a month ago, my friend told me that she and two other friends of ours were waiting at the bus stop one day trying to get around town not looking suspicious and not having done anything wrong except for the fact that they were teenagers around the ages of 15 and 16 (I'm 15 too btw). She told me that two really really fake looking undercover cops came by trying to look young with clothes that obviously didn't match them. One of them asked something like"hey, you guys lookin' to buy some weed?" My friend answered no and asked "you guys are cops aren't you?" and made fun of them by telling them not to dress so fake next time and two idiots just walked away.

I was pissed off that they actually tried catching my friends with something like that, but I was wondering if they're even allowed to do that. Isn't it considered entrapment or something if they actually ask you and you haven't done anything? And as long as you're innocent, you can refuse any request to search you, right?

In August of last year, I was traveling for my company in another state for 2 weeks, and I rented an Avis rental car. I was involved in a car accident which was determined by the police as no ones fault. I did not take out the rental insurance and did not have personal auto insurance at the time (stupid I know!). The company did not have travel insurance on the companies AMEX card. I did not report the accident to the company at the time in fear of losing my job, and now over a year later, a lawyer representing Avis is trying to sue me for $18,000 which is the full value of the car. (Also.... the accident took place while returning from dinner, but I was staying overnight)

My question is.... Should the company I was working for at the time be responsible for the damages beacause I was on company time? Don't forget, a year has gone by so i'm not sure if a staute of limitations has any role to play in this.

As a Democrat I think Joe Biden is a decent, experienced ,good and respected person and politician. Hillary and Obama are digging their own graves and contradicting themselves but Joe Biden is not. I have a trial date comming up in december for a DUI its my first offence but recently I got another DUI whitch in currently in the process of obtaining a lawyer. So during all this am I able to leave the country to see family overseas or will i be stopped at the airport?

He took leave from work on oct.16 2007 and was terminated on jan.8 2007. after 7 years faithful work they fired him. he had to keep Cobra to see doctors, his life insurance was cancelled when he was seperated from the company. sadly my daddy died may18-2007. why fire a faiyhful employee?

I am 23, male clean record and a high school diploma. After high school, I've been living with off my parents & didn't work. I mostly stay home & watch movies or play video games. I don't have that much friends either.

I realize that when I socialize, I feel like I am a little off. That's why I try to avoid socialization, especially with strange people.
But ever since about 4 years ago, after seeing the movie SWAT, II've always wanted & dreamt about becoming a police officer.

Should I try it out? Do you think I would make a good police officer? Do you think the police training will transform me from a little off shy person in to a good police officer with strong leadership characteristic?
