Why do you think the founders stipulated that all laws concerning taxation must originate in the House of Representative ?

Because the founding fathers believed the House of Represantitives would be the voice of the "common people" (i.e., rich white men) and less susceptible to pressure from special interests than the Senate.

Boy were they wrong about that.

As (at least) two before me said, balance of power and proximity to the people.

To begin with, members of the HoR face election every two years, more often than any other position in government, which means the people have a greater influence on representatives than senators or the president. Also, representatives have the needs and desires of a smaller number of people to represent.

Again, they are the government officials closest (and most available to) the people. The president couldn't possibly listen to the needs of every district, nor could the senators. The representatives, however, can.

becausae the members of the House are the most vulnerable to the desires of the voters and must do what their constituents want more than any other elected government group

checks and balances. the senate has their special area of expertise, and this is the lower house's area.
