Most these men are in thier 80s and 90s how do you think they should be punished?

Yes, because they took the lives of many people illegally and immorally many years ago does not mean that with time we should forget about it.
We owe the victims and survivors of the fascists, justice.

From time to time these issues arises, and I am as suprised each time. I see some of the answers suggesting that because these guys are old or because Israel or some other country is doing the same today, we should leave these criminals be.
So silly, what a statement. If someone, e.g. 16 year old person kills yor entire family today and he ascape law he should go free as soon as he reach age of retirement or something? And these guys we are talking about now killed millions of people, not only jews, but all thinking/talking any different then the Great Furher Adolf.
Anybody should be hunted down and brought to justice, no matter of age of position. Remember Mr UN Boss Kurt Valdheim. Because he was high ranking official he escaped law. What a perfect world we live in!!!!!

I wonder if any of them are indeed alive.
I'd prefer for them to be clubbed to death, but assuming any were caught, it'd be best if they were put on trial, as that's the legal, expected thing to do. It'd be a shame - only being prosecuted for a crime in their twilight years, when they'll either die peacefully during the trial or not long after.

whoa whoa whoa. wait a freekin minute there quickdraw. not so fast. yeah, yeah, nazi war criminals are ancient. eighty would be young for most. eighty means born in 1927! that's 3 at crystalnacht.13 when usa entered the war. 18 at wars end. think about it. it's not happening. but i don't disagree with you, prescott bush, a major supporter, had a kid named george; he in turn had a kid, also named george. that one lives in a big white house in DC. i'll agree with you, maybe. and we're on the same side, maybe. but i'm serious about it and not just ragin'. think and grow wise. we need you strong and aware. know what you're talking about. read and educate yourself.
those guys are almost everyone of them dead. it's the legacy that continues that is our problem today. keep reading, keep thinking, keep caring.

what about Balkan war criminals?like Radovan Karadzic and many of his commanders who ordered the genocide in Bosnia who vanish into thin air?what about G.Bush Sr and G.Bush Jr ?Tony Blair?Ariel Sharon and others?
