The wise one: They don't. The utility companies make sure of that. Though i'm not going to knock them for dreaming about better energy alternatives. They have that part right.

what a joke...... i waited about 45 min and called the electric company and was on hold for 10 min and i was the only one from my area to call. the lady said she thought it was just my house.......lol,
so i went to the neighbors and theres was out too.
third time in a week

I think everyone out there should volunteer to cut off all power usage at noon every day for one hour..take the lead and show the rest of the nation how a true socialist liberal nation/state does things the right way..yes?

if everybody out there cut off their a/c units for 4 hrs a day,from 10 am to 2 pm,not for 1 hr as Gandamack says,the country would REALLY know how serious about saving the environment they are..yes,cut it all off and show us how to truly sacrifice for the cause....

That happened to us the other day. Somehow it sounds 'fishy', but maybe I am just being paranoid. Will the next thing we hear on the media. "This won't happen if we go Nuclear"

I thought all the liberal CA folks had all their energy needs - alternate power, hybrids, etc all figured out! Or again as usual, is it all window dressing and no substance?
