A vigilante group has been convicted for murdering a registered sex offender. All but one has been sentenced to life in prison. The one has been sentenced to death.

Do you think this is right?

The convicted sex offender was finished with his obligation to the government (no more prison time, no more supervised release). He was listed as a registered sex offender on the public national data base.

His crime - Indecent exposure to a child under 12. He was seen by an 11 year old girl while peeing behind a 7-11 one night after a night at the bar.

Now he has been murdered because this group had an axe to grind and blanketed his crime with the true pedophiles (people who rape children).

Again - Do you think what this vigilante group did was right?

Salman Khan left Mumbai and got into flight to Jodhpur to surrender before the court. His journey was covered minute to minute in the electronic media. Most of the people were aware about it. Rajasthan Police reached Jodhpur airport in big strength to arrest him. This cost of mobilization of Police force would have been a few lakh of rupees. What was attained by this. There is a shortage of Police to investigate many serious crimes. It would have been better to use these resources for more demanding jobs. What a waste of resources and public money. Arresting a convict a few minutes was all that was achived by this massive waste of public funds. Should this waste of public continue?

From what I know, no Marines have relaxed grooming standards (including Force Recon). My friend in the Marines was telling me about counterintel Marines having beards and being highly trained. If this is true... Why do they have relaxed grooming, while Force Recon does not, and what are they trained in?

My principal recently cited me on a dress code violation, that my tank top was an undergarment, and therefore could not be worn.
Upon showing her that it was indeed NOT an undershirt, she began to tell me that men are not allowed to wear tank tops because it sends the wrong message.
I asked what this message is, fearing some anti-gay hogwash. Her reply was that it didn't promote an image of modesty or remote professionalism.
I cited that the school allows people to wear full blown halloween costumes AND that there were women standing right next to me wearing nearly the same tank top, AND scantily less clothing.

So, after going back and forth with her I got straight to the point, "So, the rule is that as a male I may not wear a tank top." AND SHE SAID YES. (sex discrimination that infringes on my ability to wear what clothes I choose)

My question is, how much power does a school have over dress codes, can I fight this discrimination, and HOW?
(As a 17 year old in high school in CA.)

Should the illegal, unethical and downright unethical and un-American things that Hillary has done be more publicized in the Media.... Or should we continue to pretend we don't know about her stealing whitehouse furniture, selling nights in the Lincoln bedroom, belittling and abusing staffers, soldiers, secret service, etc.....

Why is this person being given the time of day by Americans???? How soon we forget....

I design websites for musicians. I have a DEMO site that showcases all the features in my musician websites. One of the features is an integrated site-wide MP3 player. Can I use music registered under a Creative Commons license on this integrated MP3 player? This would be for DEMO purposes. I won't be selling the music just using it to demo how the player works. I will be selling my web design services and packages. Please advice me. Thanks.

People who are pro-life, what constitutes life? Only point I will add is, if you say it is because of the potential for a life, then I would say the fact that every fertile woman in the world isn't pregnant every second that she can be letting a potential life be murdered, or aborted metaphorically.

I was off sick for 2 weeks and obtained a certificate from my doctor with a return to work date clearly written on it. The doctor couldn't see me until after I had returned to work so the date he signed the certificate is 3 days after the return to work date. My employer wanted to record me as off sick until the date the doctor signed the certificate rather than the return to work date the doctor had recorded. Which is the correct date for my employer to use for their records? Thanks

Since Australia has universal health care, I would have thought that it would at least been in the top 10 of the World Health Organization's ranking of health care systems.

I am surprised that the sucky US system (where only the rich can afford health care) even made the top 100, so I was even more surprised to see that we were ranked #37, just behind Australia (#32).

I've only heard great things about all facets of Australian life, so why would its health care system be ranked so low?? I'm puzzled. Please explain if you can.
