I was talking to my bf who is visiting his grandmother a few hours away. When i asked why he wasn't saying much he told me that his grandmothers daughter who lives down the street is tapping the phone line and prob listening to our convos. I was furious because earlier we had a private convo that I def didn't want anyone to hear. Their tapping the line because their afraid she will talk to another family member and cut them out of the will and they want a heads up. Since it was not my phone being tapped, but my conversation being heard, do i have rights to stop this or prosecute?

If you clock in 5 minutes early, (which were allowed to do, before they changed it)they will round it up to the hour, as well as, if you clock out 5 minutes after your time they round it back. Example: I work from 9:30 to 6:00. If I punch in at 9:25 its 9:30 and if I leave at 6:35, its 6:30. Is this legal in California?

I'm no law major so please help me out with this? Can someone please tell me specifically what crimes should President Bush be tried for? Crimes against humanity, war crimes, or civil crimes? Make sure you answer with the law and not emotion or opinion. And please provide the proof not what you think.
You can either be the prosecuter or the defense lawyer here.

Any Republican can do Moral Outrage on cue, unless it's about Cost Overruns, Consumer Fraud, Unsafe Products or Briges to Nowhere.

But, locking the barn door in case that danged horse decides to sneak back in is something they do a lot, too.

You decide.

Follow up to "minie ball tumbling" question which has received many excellent answers already. Would it be the effect of the round on the target - small neat hole vs larger tear? Super slow motion photography?

Let's all change our registration to republican next year and write in Larry "Wide-Stance"Craig for president in the primaries.

Some people are already suggesting that the republicans run him with the slogan "Let's restore dignity to the Oval Office."

What do you think?

...to set up a special deportation budget that would pay the cost to round up and deport illegal immigrants? I am sure the cost per person would not be much at all.

That could involve any number of things. Although the fact that in his statement he said "i am not gay", it gives me a good idea that another man was involved.

I can understand America - it was built on (legal) immigration and multiculturalism (from peoples of Europe first, but still).

But why does Europe, a land which has/had many unique indigenous cultures, want to go out and pollute its society with every kind of Allah worshipper known to man?

I won't try to convert you to see things from my standpoint, but here's something for you to ponder: Maybe you don't like the President, but would you really wish he would be killed in an accident, or assassinated? If you do, I would have to say you are terrible human being.

Is there a site that shows which European countries are least strict on Marijuana and hash use? I hear in Asia they really crack down on you for using/having it but in Europe they are significantly less strict about it than in the United States.

Propostion 2 is seeking a 5.98% raise for the Mayor and City Council of Phoenix, Arizona. Here in Phoenix the crime continues to rise, juvenile delinquency is high, teenage pregnancy is high, neighborhoods are deteriorating, streets are pot-filled, bus stops are dirty, buses dirty, and unreliable at times, rude city employees, pollution is terrible, immigration is out of control, City Council members out of touch with its constituents, the Mayor wants to concentrate on more jobs. But these jobs seem to go to people living in the suburbs not Phoenix constituents. Job training and education not funded. What have the City Council and Mayor done to earn a raise? They should do like Tony Snow and go to work for the private sector to earn more money. The government at any level is not a source to earn a living above the poverty line. These are public servant positions, meaning you are a public servant because you want to help, improve, and make a difference.

A 2002 book on Civil War medicine written by a doctor states that conical minie balls fired from rifled muskets could tumble in flight. I think he is wrong. I can't imagine how - unless it was a freakish occurrence with the lower flange of the minie ball not fitting well into the rifling grooves. Minie balls should be spinning in my way of thinking, but I'm not a firearms expert.

Any suggestions about the most effective pepper spray? I have considered 'Sabre', 'Fox', and 'Wildfire'. Is there really a difference? I want to buy some for home protection, in my car, and to have in public. I live in Atlanta, GA and travel between Florida and Tennessee. I know some states have particular laws about pepper spray.
