this is stupid, its a serious question and its not racist because the mexicans where i live at are really racist against others i wanna know why they are racist? whats their problems?

In an answer 3 weeks ago, I said the Mexican government and the Mexican elite are generally very prejudiced against dark-skinned Mexican citizens of Indian descent with little education and a certain accent. They do not want these people in their country.

.My answer and my 5 other answers immediately previous and subsequent that had nothing to do with this fact were deleted. What gives? I don't know why anyone would take offense to this statement. Also, so what if white Mexicans are prejudiced against dark-skinned Mexicans . They are still nice people IMO. In the 50's, white people in the U.S. were very prejudiced against black people (actually colored people). They weren't bad people either. It's a cultural thing.

Apparently, based on the different answers to this question, Mexicans have some prejudice that needs to be confronted and eliminated.. Rather than deleting an answer that expresses this fact, perhaps it could be left in so solutions to this problem could be discussed.

To Realchipmunk below: the prejudice of the Mexican elite toward their dark-skinned brethren is the primary reason we have so many illegal immigrants from Mexico.

Some Mexicans are racist for the same reason some Americans are racist. SOME people can't see beyond their nose and are blinded by stereotypes. So in short, it is only the ignorant, the foolish who fall into the false and generalized ideas based on a certain race.
