probably before.....at least they had some structure and law....be it a dictatorship or not...........
and jeremy......they are still dying by the thousands as we speak.................
worse yet,OUR PEOPLE ARE DYING TOO,under false pretenses...
the only way to gauge this is by asking:would saddam have died before "w"left office?who could've killed more in the time span given to each....
and who would've followed saddam.....probably another low-life dictator............leading to more iraqi slaughter.......
we'll probably never know...

Before Bush: Saddam was rampant, mass graves, rape camps

During: Peace has taken over in some areas of Iraq. If you do REAL research you will find that there are cities that are quite safe. Remember Fallujah? What do you ever hear from it now? NOTHING! That's because order has been found, and nothing of interest to the media goes on anymore. No ones getting killed.

Which would you rather have?

Despite what the media wants you to think there is a actually a lot of good going on in Iraq since Bush went in. They just prefer to show the bad stuff because it is more "interesting". The Iraqi people can now live their lives without the fear of a psychopathic dictator killing them for no reason at all. I would say things are a lot better there.

But we have definitely overstayed our welcome there.

What the Iraqi people think is utterly irrelevant!!!!

After all, all we are trying to install a democracy over there, whether the majority of Iraqi people want it or not.

During!

Before, Saddam Hussein was torturing them, and killing them by the thousands.

After we leave and they can rebuild, and hopefully take care of themselves, I can only hope better. Anything has to be better than living under Saddam

Right now I'd definitely say they're worse. Freedom by anarchy is no freedom at all. I would much rather not be able to say "Saddam Sucks" than not be able to go outside.

Well, they can now say "Saddam Sucked" and not get killed for it
