That's lewd conduct. He was caught soliciting sex from an undercover police officer in an airport toilet.
There was no trial, so he wasn't convicted in that sense.
He pled guilty to a lesser charge.

we will never know the real truth> Think of this. He is a senator. That cop was a young man. Is he honest or is he an opportunist. A young cop takes down a senator and he could be a real hero. Is this political/ Will we ever know the truth or just keep guessing and listening to the hyped up news media. It is certain that he should resign but was he sit up or not? Only 2 people and God knows.

The charge was disorderly conduct. It involves some type of tapping of feet in a pattern that signals to the person in the stall next to you that you are interested in sexual activity of some type. By implication, that would indicate that the Senator was interested in some type of homosexual activity. Unfortunately for him, the guy in the next stall was a vice cop.

He plead guilty to Disorderly Conduct, a reduced charge. He was arrested for allegedly soliciting sex in an airport mens' restroom. From what I have read, it appears he was arrested solely on the basis of hand & foot "signals" suggesting he was trolling.

He put his foot next to the man in the stall next to him and that was considered an invitation for sex. Not a crime if you ask me and he would have won at trial but he copped out. I was one of those free lawyers with the bad copping out reputations and even I wouldn't have copped him out.

Seems to this ol' codger that he was acting EXACTLY like MOST OTHER politicians, we have in Washington!!! Doing what he wanted and believing that "IF I, A POLITICIAN, CAN SQUANDER THE PUBLIC'S (TAX PAYERS) MONEY, THEN I CAN GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING, ANYWHERE, ANY TIME, WITH WHOMEVER I PLEASE" !!!!
Hell, folks, CHAPPAQIDDIC TED gets away with sex in a public place, taking bribes, AND what about the 8 hour delay in reporting the DEATH of MARY JO COPECTNEY?? ( CHAPPAQUIDDIC TED NEVER EVEN WENT TO ANY COURT !!!!!!!!!
