I actually am feeling gayer by the minute because this has been allowed. I also think it might be turning my eight children gay as well.

“A general dissolution of principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America than the whole force of the common enemy. While the people are virtuous they cannot be subdued; but when once they lose their virtue then will be ready to surrender their liberties to the first external or internal invader.” —Samuel Adams

Actually gay marriage is still illegal in Iowa. The judge just ruled that the law was wrong. They are currently appealing the ruling. It will take a while before it is actually legalized or not.

The separation of Church and State already took place in Massachusetts. We may not see the full ramifications for years. I have nothing against Gay people having the same rights, responsibilities, liabilities and privileges as anyone else, I just don't want it to be called marriage. i am not overly religious or sanctimonious, but i believe in the separation of Church and State as set down by our founding fathers. Marriage is a Sacrament in the Catholic Church. Allowing Gays to marry violates that Sacrament of Marriage.

Personally I think people need to mind their own business and leave others alone. They are not doing anything to hurt anyone, so let them live their lives.

Not much has changed. They still have figured out a way to raise a family themselves though or nurse a child themselves but things take time to figure out and you have to start somewhere. Maybe we can genetically engineer the ultimate housewife/father thing to raise our kids in the future?

Remember rat poison is 97% inert ingredients, 3% poison.
Takes time but it will kill.

Hey chance 20, if gay marriages are legalized where does it stop? Sister? Daughter? Brother? Minors? How loud will these groups scream to have their "rights" after making it legal.
That's the true poison, there will be no sanctity of marriage left once you open pandora's box on marriage.
Don't believe it? Check out NAMBLA and there view of marriage.

Heard part of this story earlier today. But you're right,if they let gay people marry the only thing that would change would be that gay people could marry, and perhaps our nations divorce rate might go down.
