Actually, it's because of the problems that cloth friction can cause on the insides of the thighs when running -- try running in corduroys to really understand the point.

Only the silkies are daisy duke short. Those Gross me out. I never owned a pair and neither did my husband. I visited my neighbor one time and he had his on and his penis was popping out the bottom,
talk about vomiting in my mouth lmfaooooooo

Regular PT shorts have the nice undies inside and however they could be a bit longer for guys, they are okay for m e. I still wear bike shorts under to prevent thigh burn

You must be speaking of Marine Corps PTs. Army PT shorts are way too big. The small shorts are more comfortable and allow for more freedom of movement, in my opinion.

that is why i loved running through base housing when I was a Marine. It was like social hour as the wifes stood out at their back fence like they were taking out the garbage.
