Do you believe that those running for president, who currently hold a public office, are truly serving the office which they were elected to?

I find it hard to believe that, with the constant campaigning, many of those who have announced their intent to run for President are actually taking the duties of their current office seriously. How can they expect us to believe that they have the best interests of their constituents in mind, when they spend so much of their time focusing on their candidacy rather than the job which they were elected to do.

What is happening to this administration?...I know they're all money hungry SOB's that really don't care about the civil rights of Americans but to sell out our country and its sovereignty? I am shocked that at a time where the GOP speaks of national terrorism threats and how UNSAFE we all are...they would have our borders open for anybody to roll into America with any kind of terrorist objectives....What happened to making OUR borders safer and stronger? If you think illegal immigration is bad now, MY God, I can't imagine what it would be like then...We'll lose our national identity within years, not decades...I can't see how you radical cons can still support this President...and you guys call us traitors & communists???

The Crime Gun Identification Act would require that starting in 2010, new models of semi-automatic handguns be equipped with technology that allows police to match bullet shells found at a crime scene to the handgun that fired the bullets. This technology, known as "microstamping" would substantially enhance law enforcement’s ability to rapidly identify and link shell casings found at a crime scene to the individual semi-automatic handgun from which it was fired.

The vote this year in the Senate is expected to be extremely close. WHY? Do some people care more about the money they get from the gun lobby than they do about the people they are supposed to represent? Why would anyone in their right mind be against a common-sense bill like this?

The "GUN GRABBERS" seem to be working over time to disarm the American people if they get their way pretty soon civillian magazine capacity will only be 1 round! (then a ball & powder musket?!?!)

Ever since the first war (Afganistan) .45 acp rounds have become less & less pleantiful, the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia (and many other states) have an arbitrary ban on anything they loosely deem to be an "assault weapon" or "high-capacity" magazine, some how they have even been able to include standard capacity magazines also as a no-no!

If there are all these big bad boogie-man Taliban terrorists running around and supposed sleeper cell Al-qaeda bad guys wating to "ACTIVATE" in America WHY is the US Govt DISARMING all the law abiding citizens in this country?

WTF?!?!

Are the New World Order entities within our own leadership trying to clear the way for the Martial Law "Blue Helmet" UN Troops to kill Americans during their Coup D'etat for their One World Government..

I call it my 50/50 plan: on the first $50,000, you pay no tax. On anything over $50,000, you pay 50% tax to your state government. No other taxes will be collected by the governmment, and there are no deductions, and the government cannot raise taxes at any time for any reason, nor can it issue refunds or tax credits to any person or company or religious entity. The tax is based on your gross annual earnings from all sources, domestic or not, legal or illegal, active or passive. Your state government will then decide how much of that money to allocate for local, state, and federal funding. Any questions? See, it's so simple that you have no questions! Oh yes, and with it we have the balanced budget amendment for all states and the federal government.
Now, who wants to have a simple, fair, equal to all tax plan?

My brother is in the Marine Corp and will Graduate in Nov. from boot camp. He will miss his birthday while he is away. When he is on leave i was thinking of bringing him to Canada as a gift. Will he be allowed to leave and will he need a passport? He doesn't have a passport currently and I'm pretty sure he has no way to obtain one while in boot camp. Should I continue to plan the trip or think of something else? Please Help!!!

I keep hearing cons say the same ol thing "Would you rather fight the terrorists on Iraqi soil or U.S. soil?"

gee Nice try, but you failed to stop them from getting here. Remember 911? Oh, that's what I thought.

BTW terrorist are not stupid. Why would they magically go to Iraq where our military is. Isn't it logical if they want to live they would go somewhere else?

Not sure about you but if there is a fire in my way, I'd prefer to walk around the fire. Cons have this BELEIF that terrorist will magically attract to our military. Well, let me clue you in on a little secret. THEY'D PROBABLY AVOID THE MILITARY.

But cons are so stupid they have some faith based beleif that terrorist will go to the military, rather than avoid the military. Seems better to bypass Iraq and head anywhere but.

Or at least they beleive it because Bush tells them it's so.

Cop wrote Wrong Letter in my DL# so when i search the la court website nothing shows up when i search from my DL #. All of my other info is correct but wrong DL and no Licence Plate because i was walking.I dont want to pay this $120.00 ticket. So what would happen if i dont?? Thanks!!

If we, as a nation of lawful and just people, want to reduce the number of people coming into the U.S. to work and send money home to their families. Our government need to start helping our closest neighboring countries to strengthen their government with fair elections and their economies with more commerce. With all the money the U.S. is spending to free Iraq, which doesn't want to help itself, we could promote business relations and jobs in these countries so the people there will not be forced to break immigration laws to feed themselves.
