I have never been in trouble with the law, but have always wanted to get cuffed up and tossed into the back of a cop car. This is nothing kinky or sexyal, but reather something I would like to experience. Does anyone know if a cop could do this for me or if it is against policy? If it is possible, how can I get it done?

There is always a middle third of US households and its income and wealth continue to increase.

The "disappearing middle class" refers to the fact that some economists - many economists - consider classes in absolute terms - - typically the benchmarks are 2X and 5X the poverty level. If you're above 5X, you're considered "affluent" even if you consider yourself upper middle class. There has been an exodus from this group over the last quarter century but it's been more than 9:1 UPWARD.

There are more poor people but only in line with population growth, and the increase isn't because of a significant number of households moving down, it's because of a significant number of poor people moving HERE, from poor countries, legally and illegally.

Aren't they being exploited, and won't that remain in the minds of their children for many generations to come creating hatred and resentment and hindering assimilation of their American born offspring? I realize coming here is a quick fix, but is anyone thinking of the long term picture?

It amazes me how fast, and how viciously, we as a people turn on celebrities the moment they are accused of a crime. Yes, we adore celebrities and hold them to a higher standard, but does that justify crucifying them if they do something wrong? In no way am I supporting a person that has broken federal law; I'm merely questioning the morality of excessive and unnecessary media coverage, as well as the fiery and opinionated personal criticism, that these people get by just being famous and committing a crime.

Mike Vick's recent dog-fitting incident, for example, received an all-day special on ESPN, despite lacking additional information that would warrant such coverage. Additionally, there are plenty of opinionated, and shallow, questions on Y!A that seem to attack Mike Vick as a person rather then question the legal aspect of the case:

or be concerned if the elderly cant afford to pay for their medicines and have to choose between eating and paying for them?

Or do you prefer a strict cold blooded laissez faire attitude ...and if people cant afford to take care of themselves we just let them die off somewhere or perhaps even round them up to take them off our pretty streets...so as to not mess up tourism and commerce?

Heres a summary of what has been happening..

Yesterday morning, I received a call from Continental Warranty, at 8am, I was still in bed, and was not very happy to be woken up so early after a long night.

I answered the phone, and once I found out it was a telemarketer, I hung up, I got the company he works for and his name (Robert).

After I hung up on him, he kept calling back, after 9 missed calls, I was pissed, I was trying to sleep, and he just kept calling. I finally answered, and and told him to Stop Calling and Put me on their Do Not Call list, and hung up.

He kept calling back, since yesterday, I have a total of ~30 received calls from that number.

From what I have read, this is considered harassment, and I can sue them for $500. Now is that per call, or total?

If its $500 per call, that means $15000, right?

Would it be hard to get a lawyer to help me with this case?

Is it even worth the hassle to sue them?

We're always being told diversity is so great. But when put the test(Iraq), it seems that its causing the country to break apart rather than glue together.
