What do you think of hillary voting for the war then saying I made a mistake.
And now says the surge is working BUT we still must bring the troops home NOW.

Is that the same as saying the war is lost??
And do you think the big 3 media will call her on it?

3 weeks ago my cousin was arrested in Signapore for littering and refusing to provide details to the arresting law officer. Following his court appearnce, the judge sentenced him to 4 lashes of the rattan cane. He will be fixed in a bending-over position to a metal or wooden frame and is told to expect permanent scarring of the buttocks. The lashes will be carried out privately in a prison, with a prison officer and a medical officer. His lawyer tried to have the caning carried out in installments but the judge said he would have the entire sentence carried out at once. The persons carrying out the caning are specially trained prison officers who deliver the maximum force in each lash.

Of course my cousin is depressed about this. He is currently on release without passport but must report to a detention centre in September, 3 days before the flogging. He wants me to travel out to meet him and provide support. If I go, I will have to cancel my holiday in Ibiza. What will I do ?

It's becoming ever more present, how little Freedom we have,
Is it Right That We Should be 'Kept Track Of' and 'Watched' hence the 'Big Brother Society'

If You Own a Mobile Phone They Can Track you Down to within 10 Metres (approx) and your Mobile Service Provider, does (so i've heard) keep track of some of its customers.

If You Use the Internet Everything You Do and Download is Automatically Stored By Your Internet Provider.

CCTV is everwhere.

Is It Right?

I have fought when others feared to serve.
I have gone where others failed to go.
I've lost friends in war and strife,
Who valued Duty more than love of life.

I have shared the comradeship of pain.
I have searched the lands for men that we have lost.
I have sons who served this land of liberty,
Who would fight to see that other stricken lands are free.

I have seen the weak forsake humanity.
I have heard the traitors praise our enemy.
I've seen challenged men become even bolder,
I've seen the Duty, Honor, Sacrifice of the Soldier.

Now I understand the meaning of our lives,
The loss of comrades not so very long ago.
So to you who have answered duties siren call,
May God bless you my son, may God bless you all.

That is the reason that Chavez closed a TV station in Venezuela. RCTV actively participated in trying to overthrow a democratically elected leader. In countries like Britain there are broadcasting laws and such an action by the BBC for instance would breach these laws. So what if CNN called for the overthrow of the democratically elected President?

The Western media makes out that this action is an attempt by Chavez to silence opposition voices which frankly is bu11sh1t. If that was the case there would be no opposition party in Venezuela. There is, Coordinadora Democratica, and they have policies for any post Chavez era.

The US claimed that Chavez had brought in a law that restricted the freedom of the press. In reality the law entitled Law on the Responsibility of Radio and Television did nothing more than regulate sexual and violent content and legislates against slander of BOTH public officials and private citizens. Exactly what other countries like the US and UK have.

On April 12, 2006, Governor Romney signed into law landmark legislation ensuring that every resident of Massachusetts would have access to affordable, portable, quality private health insurance – without higher taxes, an employer mandate or a government takeover of health care.

One of the biggest factors in world issues today. Why is it that this is never addressed? Pollution, food, healthcare, infrastructure, education, poverty are all examples of problems that stem from a world that is over populated.

We have tons of laws telling people what they can and cannot do. How about a law that dictates how many children people can have, so the rest of us dont get screwed by having to pay for them.

Contaception is a wonderful thing that would solve many world problems.

What do you think?

I watched with inerest the program on ITV last night, War on Democracy. This showed how the US has been waging wars against democratically elected governments and replacing them with fascist juntas in Latin America. In the case of Chile they replaced the government with the dictatorship of General Pinochet and thousands were then tortured and murdered. In Guatamala the same happened and in El Salvadore priests were murdered with Bishop Oscar Romero being a notorious example. In Venezuela they have set their sights on the democratically elected government of Hugo Chavez simply because he wont allow the big US corporations to take control of the countries resources. Why does the US oppose democracy and support fascism in Latin America? Why at the same time do they lecture the world about democracy?
