I was reading the details of my home insurance and it says Im not covered for acts of war. Does that mean if we have a terrorist attack, Im not covered because of the "war against terror"

Of course the answer is obvious. But my problem is that I have applied for the post of Assistant Treasurer of a the students astronomical society. And now I have to face an interview and also make a speech based on 'why i think im the best for this position'.

Honest to God. I just re-watched it, because I saw it last when I was in high school, so my memory of the movie is pretty vague. Holy cow, what a DULL movie! It's sad; I had the feeling that I was supposed to feel emotion, but all I felt was bored.
Anyone else have this reaction to it? And if so, why would anti-choicers make such a dull, boring film if they're trying to get people to feel badly about abortion?

When a white person from Canada or Europe says that he/she is planning to move to America, then everyone welcomes the person and speak positively.
Whereas if an Asian or Latino person says that he/she is coming to America, then hardly anyone welcomes the person & I notice some people who pass comments like "get out of my country" and "you didn't find a better place to go to other than ours?" etc.
Why is this so? Why do I see very few American people welcome Asians or Latinos to their country, but if the person is a caucasian then their response is completely different?

Vietnam: napalm and agent orange, birth defects still occurring from this 40 years later. Iraq, depleted uranium, causing cancer in children and american military personnel. why is the u.s. fighting what was traditionally a french and russian war? consider the wasted resources and how they could be used here within the country where currently 37% of the population is born out of wedlock. Everyone thinks they know what's best, what horrors we are doing over there, that we have no right to be there.... and they have never even been to Iraq? That's like saying New York sucks and you have never been outside of Rhode Island. How can you judge what you have only seen or heard on the news? My brother in law works on a smallish carrier. They handle vtol vehicles I believe. Anyhow, bout two daze before the storm they are sent down new orleans way to help with the aftermath. They sat... and sat ... then about 4 daze after the storm without ever dropping off the emergency supplies or helping in any way they are ordered back to port.
Is there any logical reason this would be?
