Bill Clinton made many visits to China during his presidency. How many trips did he make without his wife and on how many of these trips did he suddenly become ill and lock himself in his hotel room for 24 hours and cancel all official state visits?

I'm not kidding. I really remember several times during Clinton's presidency on the news that he was canceling all official state functions during a visit to China, sans wife.

Also remember that Papa Bush went to a Japanese state fuction so ill that he vomited on people rather than cancel out and insult the Japanese. I'm sure that the Japanese were impressed by this gesture. Clinton would claim to be sick, disappear for 24 hours and pop up the next day looking fine. (Then come back to America and allow the Chinese to recieve restricted computer chips by sending them through Department of Agriculture instead of Departmet of Commerce.)

He wasn't lonely there at all! Rumor has it that he had room service frequently and ordered the #69 special, "cream of sum-yung-girl!"

LOVE the question~you get a "star"!

Every time. It was bad sushi on the cigar given to him by Wi Fukem Yung.

Bush's illness was due chopsticks repackaged in China after being used already.

He needed many, many happy endings sampling a number of fortune cookies. He is only lonely when he has to keep to himself when he's around the woman he has a "marriage in name only", to keep up the facade of his marriage, he needs to be more discrete; even the liberal media won't keep those secrets anymore. In China, he can do what he wants and with whoever he wants.

I think he spent most of the time behind his desk in the hotel.
Wonder who was under there
