and now I am scheduled to have a default hearing. I filed papers in response, but I guess they were the wrong ones. Is there anyway to get out of that?

Could you be a little bit more specific please... Everyone is telling me that I basicially lost the case, but i filed pepers that i honestly thought were the right ones.. I really appreciate it!

No, if there is a default hearing you may not have lost YET. Go get an attorney ASAP. You won't be able to clean this up without having one. Even if you get one, there is a chance that it still won't be cleaned up.
