I was reading the details of my home insurance and it says Im not covered for acts of war. Does that mean if we have a terrorist attack, Im not covered because of the "war against terror"

Port authority had to pay but we wernt at war then. Does your answer mean America has never actually declared war?

no

you're covered unless and until Congress or some other nation declares war and you property is damaged as a result of that.

the insurance companies had to pay the Port Authority fo rthe buildings destroyed on 9/11 didn't they?
