he did this
Developed the nation's first anti-terrorism policy, and appointed first national coordinator.
-- Stopped cold the planned attack to blow up 12 U.S. jetliners simultaneously.
-- Stopped cold the planned attack to blow up UN Headquarters.
-- Stopped cold the planned attack to blow up FBI Headquarters.
-- Stopped cold the planned attack to blow up the Israeli Embassy in Washington.
--Stopped cold the planned attack to blow up Boston airport.
-- Stopped cold the planned attack to blow up Lincoln and Holland Tunnels in NY.
-- Stopped cold the planned attack to blow up the George Washington Bridge.
-- Stopped cold the planned attack to blow up the US Embassy in Albania.
-- Tried to kill Osama bin Laden and disrupt Al Qaeda through preemptive strikes (efforts denounced by the G.O.P.).
-- Brought perpetrators of first World Trade Center bombing and CIA killings to justice.
-- Did not blame Bush I administration for first World Trade Center bombing even though it occurred 38 days after they had left office. Instead, worked hard, even obsessively -- and successfully -- to stop future terrorist attacks.
-- Named the Hart-Rudman commission to report on nature of terrorist threats and major steps to be taken to combat terrorism.
-- Tripled the budget of the FBI for counterterrorism and doubled overall funding for counterterrorism.
-- Detected and destroyed cells of Al Qaeda in over 20 countries
-- Created a national stockpile of drugs and vaccines including 40 million doses of smallpox vaccine.
-- Robert Oakley, Reagan Counterterrorism Czar says of Clinton's efforts "Overall, I give them very high marks" and "The only major criticism I have is the obsession with Osama"
-- Paul Bremer, Bush's Administrator of Iraq disagrees slightly with Robert Oakley saying he believed the Clinton Administration had "correctly focused on bin Laden. "
-- Barton Gellman of the Washington Post put it best, "By any measure available, Clinton left office having given greater priority to terrorism than any president before him" and was the "first administration to undertake a systematic anti-terrorist effort."

Bill Clinton was one of the worst presidents America ever had. His presidentcy was a constantly mired in scandals and members of his administration were committing suicide. He was completely ineffective as a leader was unable to pass anything of significance through congress. By the way, congress did impeach him! Bill Clinton was so bad that at the next general election he accomplished what no one since the civil war could accomplish - - turn the senate and house from Democrat ruled to Republican ruled! When Bill Clinton was leaving office he pardoned hundreds of criminals many of which had given money to his campaigns. Things were so bad, that when his Vice President, Al Gore, ran for president he had to distance himself from the Clinton administration. Al Gore did not want to be associated with Clinton when he ran for president. Why is Clinton considered a good president today?? Because the economy was realitivly healthy? He did nothing to stimulate the economy and his tax increased actually hurt the economy.... Because the budget was balanced??? His administration was against balancing the budget and was forced to do so by a Republican congress. Because America was at peace?? During his administration we were fighting in Bosnia, we had Black Hawk down in Somalia, we had terrorists bombs in the Twin Towers, American Embassies, the Cole, etc... And the planning for 9-11 was all prepared during his administration... Any comments on the greatest of Bill Clinton is purly delusional.

He started supporting China by opening up trade with them, which has effectively given them a much longer life. A socialist economy will fail on its own, as well as a socialist government, but we're sustaining them.
He sold nuclear reactors, material, and instruction manuals to the North Koreans.
He downsized the military. He took away the right to own and use firearms (certain kinds, though it didn't do squat for the safety of the average person).
Clinton also tried to limit the ability of homeschoolers to teach their children, instead trying to get everyone to be state schooled. If you can indoctrinate a child to believe something, then that is what they are going to believe for most of their adult life. Try reading the book "The Children's Story" by James Clavell.
Sure, there are some good things about Clinton's presidency, but that doesn't make his presidency one of the best.

Yes. He was an excellent President. He presided over the largest economic expansion in U.S. history and foiled the 2000 terrorist attacks.
He'll remembered by history as one of the best.

Compared to some yes, ideally no. If you're for pardening criminals and abusing the White House no. Also a book by Barb Olson, just before she died on 9/11 plane, is said to have inside info on the pair. Beside he is a Bilderberg member as she is also.

He was a bright and sharp minded person, I did n't agree with NAFTA and a few other things, but overall he had the health and wealth of the nation at heart. I never had to worry about him being boring or stupid.
It was a good time.

Yes, one of the best. Besides improving our economy, he had goodwill from the rest of the world. Unfortunately, something we've lost with the present administration.

No, he gave the Taliban millions along with Tony Blair to stop Heroin production which is documented. The payments stopped and then in time came 9/11.
I wonder what they used the money for?
It is well documented and the agreement is for anyone to see. It's not disclosed information, this did happen. Blair & Clinton both paid large sums to the Taliban pre 9/11.
