I stopped dating a guy a couple of years ago that was very handsome, kind, considerate, and a very successful business man. On our third date, over dinner, he confessed to me that he was a Republican.

I know I should have known, but I just couldn't see him anymore after that.

Do you think this political thing can just go too far? I mean my own parents were mixed politicly.......oh bad example, they fought constantly.

Do you think I am just TOO Democrat?

Has the President stumbled on the perfect way to unite the country? By continuing to support Alberto Gonzales despite the latest news about the FBI directors notes about the “Godfather” scene in Ashcrofts hospital room. These contemporaneous notes, which contradict what Gonzales has said, are just another hit on Gonzales. So, maybe Bush has finally united the country………AGAINST HIM!

Now, instead of talking about his nonsense ideas on "the issues", to try to gain press and image, he has to name call Ann Coulter. Isn't that pathetic?

The details of getting forgiven vary in different churches, but they all say Jesus died for your sins, and you can get forgiven by going through one or two steps. You don't have to follow the commandment "Thou shalt not kill", if you can get forgiven after.

What's your opinion? Do you believe political correctness and liberalism actually help or harm America, or both? Please no bible verses or rambling about that, I'm talking from a real perspective. Please be courteous with your answers, thank you.

Say for example is someone says "I aint killed nobody" then that means they have. Can double negatives be used as admissions? What if someone knows what they are doing and deliberately uses one, they could then say that they had admitted to the crime but were misunderstood.

The Bush administration has done a lot of harm to this country in terms of lost lives and lost billions of dollars. This bad scenario is still continuing. Why are people not pushing their reps in Congress to call for impeachment before they do further damage in the next 16 months?

In recent question, almost all respondents noted either ending the war in Iraq or illegal imm./US So. border, as most important issues for our next president to address. Is one of these issues more critical than the other? If so why?

Rant about the "evils" of the British Empire without addressing the things their own government has done andi s doing right at this moment?

What are they doing in Iraq? What did they do to the Native Americans?

I'm sorry but I'm fed up of reading "The Brits are all evil because of Ireland and India" from people whose country is right now oppressing and killing people in some of the poorest parts of the world for oil. Its blatant hypocrisy.

I say "some Americans" because I know that most are not like this.

almost three years, and the case isn't anywhere near finished. It is cut and dry. We were injured while at a stop after getting rear-ended from someone going 50 mph without braking. My lawyer says it is taking so long because of the other drivers insurance company. Three years seems like a long time to still be waiting to go to trial. Is this common or is my lawyer the idiot I think he is? Should I consult with another lawyer? Also, is it possible to change lawyers in a case like this?

I recently choked on a cocklebur found in my bag of Spitz, I have emailed the company and they have told me that the cocklebur should not have been there in the first place. My question is, what are my options and how should I go about dealing with this. I used to be an avid Spitz eater and now I can barley look at a bag of Spitz. I still have the item and was told to send it to the company headquarters. Is it ok to send the item or should I wait untill i talk to someone first?

A man accused of stepping on the throat of a 15-year-old girl -- strangling her -- had disclosed nine months earlier after pleading guilty to drunken driving -- he was NOT a U.S. citizen.

But Alejandro Rivera Gamboa was released without anyone notifying immigration authorities.

Dani Countryman was from Texas and visiting her older sister in Milwaukie.

Rivera Gamboa and his cousin Gilberto Javier Arellano Gamboa are charged with aggravated murder, attempted rape and atempted sexual abuse.

Arellano Gamboa is also in the country illegally, but does not have a previous criminal record.
