The details of getting forgiven vary in different churches, but they all say Jesus died for your sins, and you can get forgiven by going through one or two steps. You don't have to follow the commandment "Thou shalt not kill", if you can get forgiven after.

So true. And even our own government kills with capital punishment, under the guise of "Judeo Christian" ethics, Go figure.

Christianity does not encourage abortion and you are correct that murder is a sin against God. The problem here is you are having a hard time dealing with the fact that you can't believe in the grace and the mercy of our loving God.
Sometimes, we do things that we wished we would have not done but because we CAN get forgiveness from God by just simply asking for it and not doing it again doesn't promote that you keep on doing things wrong and expecting to be forgiven if your heart is not within God's will. With a wrong attitude about forgiveness, God will not even look in your direction.

well obviously you have a problem with Christians to even say that, but that statement is just false. yes, Christans are very forgiving, as we all should be, but we also believe in the rule of law, and understanding and following the principles of what is right and what is wrong by following the 10 commandments, yes, people are going to fail in staying on the "right" path, we are only human, but if you are truly sorry you are forgiven, as it should be...any sane person knows that just because you are forgiven it does not mean you should just continue the bad behavior. Bad behavior has consequences, yes, you are forgiven but there are punishments too.........saying Christians encourage abortion is just plain silly.....just because they say you are forgiven for your sins????

Yeah but you have to believe in the two steps or it doesn't matter. And you better hope you don't die before you ask for forgiveness. Your question is actually pretty dumb. If you are a true believer you wouldn't have had the abortion in the first place. Pick up a Bible sometimes.

Christians can forgive. That doesn't mean they condone. I don't see Christianity encouraging abortion. I think you are being facetious.

How did you manage to come up with this weird line of reasoning? Totally illogical.
