Liberals or Democrats tend to believe in the potential of government to have effective programs; conservatives and Rebublicans seems to believe otherwise. So let's get closer to a resolution: Make a list of successful programs and not-so-successful ones. I'll start:

Successful: The federal highway system.

Unsuccessful: the best example I can think of is Herbert Hoover's programs to mitigate the effects of the Depression--the economy still got worse. OK, maybe a bad example, but please work with me if you know better or have further examples.

This is not the only agenda to me, but it is important. Basically I want to know which presidential candidate would be most likely to move this country towards legalized marijuana. and on the same note, who would be least likely.
Also, PLEASE dont give me your opinion on why pot is bad or should not be legal, Im gonna smoke it every day for the rest of my life regardless of legality, and i understand how bad it is for my body and mind, but i really dont care, the consequences do not out weigh the pleasure in my mind. thanks

George C
S Who killed President J F Kennedy?
A UK television programme many years ago viewed by millions was conducted by a British CSI team. Their analysis was very military and astoundingly convincing. Essentially they concluded JFK was shot from the front seat of the Limo by the security agent sitting in the front passenger seat. They argued analysing the film footage that the aired and most commonly seen news coverage itself was edited. The agent in the front seat going for his weapon drawing it, they deturmined a second or two where they concluded the agent shot JFK under the chin at close range blowing the back of his head out, aND HIS GUN returns TO THE HOLSTER.

Newly elected chairman of the Young Republican National Federation, Glenn Murphy Jr., has resigned amid a controversy that he s........y attacked a young man by performing ......... on him while he slept. Okay, so i'm 19 years old and I got an underage drinking citation at a club. the club was for 18 an older, but someone knew someone and we weren't asked for our ID's and we were given bracelets indictation we were 21. A guy bought me a drink and gave it to me, and right when he gave it to me, an ABC cop asked me for my ID. I got the citation for possession of a mixed drink and misrepresentation of my age. I'm a good kid, no record, college student (pre med at that) and really don't want this on my record. What are my options? Lawyer? Take a class? How much will the fine be and how much is the class? Is there any way to beg for a LONG probation instead of a huge fine , since being a college student, i really don't have the extra 300 dollars to pay. The ABC cop told me i'd have to talk to a probation officer and not a judge. Any ideas? PLEASE PLEASE HELP! Also, why am I getting lawyer letters in the mail? Thank you!

P.S. I live in INdiana, but got the citation in Kentucky.

We already hand out more than $1 Trillion each year.

How much will ever be enough?

The odd thing is that Hillary and the Dems will hand out more than $1 Trillion to illegals over the next decade.

My father is aware that his health may deteriorate quickly. The power of attorney became official today.
Do I have to notify his bank and financial advisor that this is now in place?
My dad is in hospital but capable of managing his own affairs.
I hope he will always be this way but there is a small chance he won't be. He has already had a series of mini strokes.
Should I leave things as they are or notify the people in charge of his finances?
I want my father to have peace of mind but not sure what to do for the best.
For the nasty people on this site: I do not want his money.

I'm for it and at the same time against. Sometimes yes I think they deserve to die for taking another life. But let's take in consideration. What if they convict and sentence a man or woman to death and find evidence that the person was innocent. But once you kill them......you can't bring them back. Plus taking the killers life will not bring back the victim back. But in my heart I feel karma should come back IF they did do it. Gosh I'm confused. I need more opinions please.

My company was just bought by another company. We were given 60 day notice that our jobs were going to be elimintated. We were promised a 6 month severence. The top guy @ this new company (CEO) is a bully and manages by belittling everyone. He has a GOD-complex. All the admins have been sending emails back and forth about the attitude of these people. We have also been sending jokes back and forth forever. I send an email (powerpoint) with demotivational pictures (opposite of motivational) pics. Saying these were being shipped from the CEO and we would all get these for our department... hehe. I was brought in to the HR office and told that I was being fired because of it. Before this happened, I have always been an exceptional employee, great reviews and liked by everyone including the previous management team. No one else has been fired for emailing jokes. Can I sue that company for singling me out and firing me? Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks!!! : )
