oh, i see. you would rather all our money go to bush, cheney, and their friends and cohorts. and on arming sociopathic dictators. do you really think that's the best use of our money? notice how i keep stressing OUR money.
During Fiscal Year 2006, the IRS collected more than $2.2 trillion in tax net of refunds, about 44 percent of which was attributable to the individual income tax.

Lets instead spend that money on a useless war and rebuilding a country that doesn't want us there, and never did.
Oh, wait now! The war is needed because its a war on terror, correct? Well, who told us that?? hmmm, let me recall.....
...oh, yes! The same people who wanted SOO BADLY to go to war there and would say ANYTHING to get the U.S. citizens to stand behind it....the Bush Administration!!!
Speaking of dems and illegals, who was it that wanted to practically open the borders and give all the illegals citizenship??
...oh, yes!! Bush
-give it up

Libs aren't hypocrites and we don't want to give "handouts" to anyone. Generally, libs are willing to help those who need help, and are willing to help themselves.
If you're so concerned about the money we're spending on illegal aliens, which by the way libs are also concerned about, why aren't you griping about the lame-@ss war we're spending billions a MONTH on?

Based upon *what* posts? I've yet to see "the liberals" all agreeing on anything, just as I've yet to see that happen for conservatives (and considering some of the examples around here, thank goodness for that!)
Just because you say pink elephants are circling your head doesn't make it so.

I had to pay $500 for books alone and $1050 for 5 classes at college, I am taking more classes now cheaper before the tuitions increase...I would like to see American money go to AMERICAN schools not halfway around the world.

the key is to restructure the current handouts, so they do much more good, than the disasters we currently support with tax dollars.

There will never be satisfaction until no one works and we are all slaves of govt..and get a hand out of what they believe we should live on.
We are slowly losing our will to survive on our own and becoming more dependent on govt to take care of us. Have we no pride in our lives anymore?
