This is not the only agenda to me, but it is important. Basically I want to know which presidential candidate would be most likely to move this country towards legalized marijuana. and on the same note, who would be least likely.
Also, PLEASE dont give me your opinion on why pot is bad or should not be legal, Im gonna smoke it every day for the rest of my life regardless of legality, and i understand how bad it is for my body and mind, but i really dont care, the consequences do not out weigh the pleasure in my mind. thanks

The answer is definitely Ron Paul. He wishes to end the entire "War on Drugs" and regulate marijuana just like we do with much more dangerous substances like tobacco and alcohol. He believes in states rights and that it is NOT the responsibility (nor even legal) for the federal government to legislate in the first place.

For the person that commented that this is a small issue, I disagree. It is at the heart of the issue of freedom and liberty without the government butting in to "save you from yourself".

Ron Paul.

He's the only politician I've seen who thinks citizens over the age of 18-21 are adults capable of making decisions on their own. Plus, he would disagree with the billions of dollars spent each year on enforcing laws against marijuana.

I don't know who would be the least likely candidate, though. Most politicians are pretty content with the status quo.

Ron Paul (R) and Dennis Kucinich (D). Forget Hillary, she will say whatever she thinks you want to hear to get your vote, but she won't follow through.

Dennis Kucinich and Barack Obama. Clinton would only if the people wanted it.

Mike Gravel. The only candidate who will say outright that he wants to legalize marijuana.
