Do larceny and assualt and battery misdemeanors 3 years ago hinder chances for federal employment? What about if it is for a position for a nonsensitive position with a NACI background check?

Well, put it this way.
It doesn't HELP!
But then again... ask yourself this.
If you were hiring someone to do a job for you (any job) and they admitted stealing from their last job and beating up the last person they worked for, would it make a difference to you?

You can pretty much guarantee you won't get that job with a record especially with those charges.They check back I'm pretty sure 7 years but hey they're hiring at the FBI if you have prior pot use so anythings possible with this government.

I would only hope it does, I think people in gov't jobs should not have crimminal records and be above reproach.
