I don't buy the argument that it is their nation blah blah. They are no different from a dictatorship as far as I am concerned. A government that forces you to believe a certain religion and has such strong cultural taboos against normal human behavior belongs in the 14th century.

Dear friend,
The law in Kingdom of saudi Arabia doesn't allow any kind of alcohol run in the public or even in private and it's strongly prohibited to be imported.
Thanks

It is the "law of the land". It is legal to drink in Germany, but not in Saudi Arabia. When you're in Germany, you follow the German rules and regulations. Similarly with Saudi Arabia and any other country.
You wouldn't like some guy to come to the US (or your country, if it is not US), do something illegal and defend it saying that it is legal in his own country, right?

no longer all Saudis think of alike. some are liberal and Westernized, others are proud to be Arab and proud to be Muslim and attempt stressful to stay remote from sin. Many Saudis study in international locations like u.s., and that they see the Western corruption up close, and a few Saudis like it, others want to attempt it considering the shown fact that's new to them. i in my view hate Muslims who drink, notably Saudis who drink. in case you have been born interior the main suitable u . s . a . in the international, Saudi Arabia, yet you hate Islam, then get out, yet do no longer call your self SAUDI!!! everywhere there are sturdy human beings and undesirable human beings, even in Dubai you will see some pious Muslims. yet for the main area, Saudi Arabia continues to be very Islamic, and that i pray it continues to be that way. i'm hoping those Saudis who do sin repent and experience shame for what they do. might Allah forgive us all.

That is their law. In my home, I have my laws as well. As a matter of fact my oldest son just had to do 40 push ups for talking in too sharp a tone to his mother when she asked him a question.
LOL, he's 17, and just like in Saudi, the law stands.
It's kind of funny to see this boy. He's a 4.0 kid who looks like a wrestler. I've disciplined him with push ups ever since he was about 7 or 8. It has been so long since he's had to do any, it was kinda tough on him. ROFL. We have a good relationship.

No. Muslims aren't supposed to drink alcohol. And it's illegal to just possess alcohol in Saudi Arabia.

Because the Saudi establishment are a bunch of self-righteous hypocrites who support terrorists but are too cowardly to do any fighting themselves.

It's the old, "When in Rome, do as the Romans." thing. A law in one nation does not affect the laws of another.
