The ever-expanding government is far above and beyond what was envisioned by the founding fathers and provisioned for in the constitution. For example, how is it the federal government's responsibility to provide universal health-care?

...international terrorism comitted by or in the name of islam/allah? Should islam be listed as a religion of hate/anti human values & be censored internationally much like what Hillary Clinton wants to do nationally with A.M. talk radio show hosts? Should nations that are found out to be aiding & harboring islamic terrorists be subjected to severe military retribution including the use of "HEAVY WEAPONS" as a form of punishment/discipline? Should the preaching/promotion of islam be banned internationally as a danger to all man kind & listed as a cult that promotes criminal activity?

A Morgantown man, his mother and his friend are suing McDonald's for $10 million.
The man says he bit into a hamburger and had a severe allergic reaction to the cheese melted on it.

Jeromy Jackson, who is in his early 20s, says he clearly ordered two Quarter Pounders without cheese at the McDonald's restaurant in Star City before heading to Clarksburg.

His mother Trela Jackson and friend Andrew Ellifritz are parties to the lawsuit because they say they risked their lives rushing Jeromy to United Hospital Center in Clarksburg.

We are all Americans regardless of race color or creed and most of us speak english which is our langauge and you politicians should make law. As a native american I knew I must learn english to be successful and I am proud to say that I did and am successful and living well.I have never received a dime from the goverment nor do I want to. All immigrants should be made to learn english. These illegals should be made to return to their country and come back legally but learn english. You politicians love to talk but do nothing. We can fly to the moon, invade and defeat our enemies but we cannot protect our borders. It appears to me that you are only interested in getting votes and not what is good for our country.I would like to see the day when all americans call themselves Americans and not African Americans etc.You are all afraid of upsetting the blacks and mexicans its pathetic to say the least forget the past and care about the future for all of us.Forget the slavery b/s its long gone

What are the penalties for a California landlord who does not provide the required disclosure notices such as lead paint notice, pesticide information, sex offender information, and mold information to a tenant? Can the failure of the landlord to provide this information be used as an affirmative defense in an eviction for nonpayment of rent or would the tenant be required to file a cross-complaint against the landlord for negligence or something else along those lines?

I have health insurance, for now. The insurance company has been sending me information to encourage me to drop out or at least stop insurance on my heart condition. Next year premiums will increase another thousand a year as they have for the last two years if they follow their current pattern. In ten years I won't be on this plan. Either I will get lucky and find a company that is willing to put someone like me on their health insurance plan or I won't have health insurance. I don't know what to do but to hope something changes. A national health insurance plan would solve my problem, but I know that a bunch of selfish bastards don't want that to happen.

"You may produce intelligence that can keep you out of a war, but I doubt that you'll ever get 1,2,3 reports of intelligence that will in any way allow you to go to war"

Milt Bearden
Former CIA station chief in Pakistan
30 years service

How many of you realize that much of the intelligence used by the Bush administration was single source, circumstantial evidence? Almost NONE of it was confirmed in any supportable fashion.

Iraq will never be the same again just like Vietnam. can Iraq heal? with time and not under occupation. no long lasting government has been developed under occupation ounce the occupying country withdrawals its forces, a struggle for power or civil war in sues. by remaining in Iraq we are only delaying the inevitable.any government implemented by force will be met with resistance by the people of Iraq. in doing this we give the the Taliban and other anti-American groups more allies. will it ever be like before? not as long as we (the usa) are there...

The United States Army has decided, in all its infinite wisdom, to loosen the strict requirements regarding enlistment. Now gone are the age limits, weight limits, educational levels AND criminal and past drug records.

In 2002, over 120 men and women fluent in the many Arabic languages, including Farsi, were released from the Army because they were gay. SO, you want criminals and drug addicts, but no Farsi speaking gays? No wonder we're losing this war. Go King George....youre gonna get us all killed.

Should we allow elected leaders to trick us into doing things that we would never agree on by giving us false or misleading information, creating a big mess, and by the time we realize the truth have them tell us that we might as well keep doing that thing that we would never have done cause a greater mess will ensue?

Should we allow them anyone to get away with this sort of thing?
