I agree. While we have among the best health-care in the world but our diets and lifestyles don't lend themselves to long life.

An interesting fact is that while Japan has a longer expectancy rate than the US Japanese who move to the US have the same expectancy as the Japanese in Japan. This seems indicative of the importance of lifestyle in determining how long a group lives.

To a large degree how long you live is up to the individual. Certainly lifestyle has a lot to do with it. Eat right, exercise, get enough sleep, don't live in polluted cities, drive safely, avoid smoking and drugs, take a multi-vitamine everyday, keep your mind active, and spend quality time with your 'significant other'! For those of you have health insurance, get regular checkups and take your meds as indicated. For those of you without health insurance, just hope to Christ that you have robust genes and the best luck in the world.

Yep. I moved to Australia when the Silly Shrub got installed in office by his Daddy's pals on the Supreme Court. I understood what was coming. I also bought Gold because I knew the dollar was going to tank under his leadership. That doubled my money.

Oh yeah, PS: Ron Paul for President!
