The nice fancy hospitals are useless if the doctors working in them dont provide good healthcare.
Or if they are not allowed to by HMO's.
Are we talking about health care or hospitals and the medical machinery in them.

If Angola has better health care than the US but facilities not up to par with the US that says they utilize what they have better than the US and they also have a better mindset when it comes to those needing healthcare.

Usually I find that sort of rebel spirit admirable, so why does it feel different coming from him?

It's not a James Dean type spirit. With him, it's more like a "I just killed some kids and I have no remorse" sort of thing.

in this forum? Just curious, because I sure have. We have one who has recently popped in from of all places, China. This person immediately made it very clear that he/she, hated ALL conservatives and hangs around knocking our country, our President and looks for sympathizers to agree. Of course, there are plenty.

Is it possible that these are actually terrorists who would like to keep us divided by trashing one side and gaining support from the other?

For those who don't realize it, here is some of the strategy that they use:

You should enter into debate or respond only if it is extremely necessary... Your concern should [only] be introducing topics which... will cause [them to feel] frustration and anger towards their government..., which will... render them hostile to Bush... and his Republican Party.

Why else would 'outsiders' show up in these forums? Your opinions are looked forward to.

Thanks. :)

A Dutch lawmaker under fire for urging that the Koran be banned in his country says he will press ahead with the proposal, and submit it in the form of a parliamentary resolution next month.

Geert Wilders of the right-wing Freedom Party told Cybercast News Service that since calling for a ban -- in a letter published Wednesday in the newspaper De Volkskrant -- he had received death threats and criticism, "but fortunately also many positive responses from voters."

I just read an article about this in my wife's Cosmopolitan, and this was brought up and I'd like to ask it here. If a woman is drunk or otherwise under the influence and cannot give consent to having sex, or gives consent and then changes her mind during the act, she is the "victim", no ifs ands or buts about it. But if the man is under the influence, he is still 100% responsible for his actions. To put it another way, if the woman is so drunk she has sex, she can later say her reasoning was impaired and it was rape, but the man cannot say his reasoning was impaired--he's still accountable for his actions under the influence, while she is not. Is that a double standard?

2. The United States should get out of the United Nations, and our highest national priority is enforcing U.N. resolutions against Iraq.

3. Government should relax regulation of Big Business and Big Money but crack down on individuals who use marijuana to relieve the pain of illness.

4. "Standing Tall for America'" means firing your workers and moving their jobs to India.

5. A woman can't be trusted with decisions about her own body, but multinational corporations can make decisions affecting all mankind without regulation.

It really blows me away that people on here ask questions on here get asked everyday, and then its not really a question its a statement, but somewhere in there is a question. So then people answer and then then next thing you know you are getting some sort of deletion, or violation for stating facts back? Now this isn't about me!! But I have noticed more and more of this happening here. Maybe Yahoo should just get rid of answers all together? What do you think?

I have a friend who is selling things on ebay. She isnt really selling anything too expensive, mostly just clothing. But the thing is, she is scamming a lot of people, taking thier money and usually not sending the item. My first question is do you think i should tell someone, like the police, or notify ebay. I feel really bad for the people getting scammed. Also how much trouble could she get in? She said police wont get involved because it would be a civil suit, and the people would have to sue her for their money. She said they wont ever do this cuz it would cost a lot more to sue than what they actually paid for the item. I would just really like some opinions on what i should do??

OK, so I was watching his pre-vaca presser, and someone asked him about Gonzales. His response "congress hasn't accused him of any wrongdoing."
WTF!!

If congress is conducting a criminal investigation of you, haven't they accused you of, well, ummm, wrongdoing?
Aren't they saying "We think you did something wrong and we're looking into it."?
