This was posted by a fellow Yahooer, so I can't take credit. But, however you are, dude, big kudos to you...

Thanks for the responses, even those who hate it. And, yeah, I know that some Republicans, maybe the Ron Paul crowd, would not agree with everything listed here. Also, for Dead Marxist, you too make a couple of points about many liberals; however I do not feel their way on all issues either.

But, for throwing a big net to catch a lot of Republican fish, this list is pretty good.

It captures the essence of Republican hypocrisy. Clever.

You might be a Liberal....

If you think Rob Reiner had to stretch to play the liberal in "All in the Family"

If you think the answer to ANY crime, infraction, or injustice is counseling.

If you've spent no less than 30 years in the walls of academia and don't see how today could be too much different from the '60s.

If you think the criminal has more rights than the police who arrest this criminal, unless the crime is sexual harassment, or racism.

If you use the term 'open-minded' and don't care that it can't be defined in absolute terms.

If you think only white people can be racist.

If Clarence Thomas made you sick, Bob Packwood made you protest, but Bill Clinton is a victim of partisan politics.

If you think Maxine Waters and Sheila Jackson Lee are articulate geniuses but Justice Clarence Thomas, Dr. Alan Keyes and Dr. Walter Williams are dolts.

If you think that the Constitution is a living document and should be changed but the writings of Karl Marx are "written in stone".

If you think burning the United States flag should be Constitutionally protected but burning a cross should be outlawed.

If you believe that posting the "Ten Commandments" in schools will hurt the children, but putting "Heather Has Two Mommies" won't.

You do realize that a list of Democratic viewpoints could very easily be posted in much the same manner and be just as inaccurate, right?

Let's take #6. Religion should be taken out of public places, unless it's a minority religion, then accomodations must be made for them.

Or take #5. A person has the right to end the potential life of an unborn child at any time who has not even had the chance to do anything wrong, but the capital punishment is wrong because everyone has the potential to be rehabilitated.

Or take #15. Clinton only lied about sex, it's irrelvent that it was under oath and about something totally unrelated. However, Scooter Libby should go to jail for not talking and misleading things said when we already knew that Dick Armitage was the one who outed Vallery Plame as a CIA worker, who by the way wasn't even in a covert role as defined by the laws. By the way, Dick Armitage isn't going to jail at all.

The list could go on and on. If you think that double talk comes only from the other side, flush out your head gear.
