They know deep down inside that they were wrong about invading Iraq and not focusing on the war on AlQaeda not to mention the countless flip flops GWB has made. As such, Iraq is circus and Afganistan is becoming a growing problem as a result. I don't think they are in denial but are in fact fighting for their very existence to keep their party and fundamentalist views alive. They really have no choice do they? considering that the vast majority of Americans have dumped their sorry a**es.

When ever there is a war there are new bigger and better offices and jobs created by the government that never seem to go away after the war is over? Republicans say they want smaller government, but they have a way of creating larger government while they are in office. They say they want to pay less taxes, yet they create all of these new government jobs that are to be funded forever. Do you believe a word that comes out of republicans mouths?

I just ask because, in fact, that didn't happen, even though the US lost that war.
Nor was there any "domino effect".
South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia are all prosperous stable democracies.
True, Vietnam had to step in and stop the genocide in Cambodia that was started by the Vietnam war.
But today, even Vietnam is becoming an ally.

And all that happened, despite the US losing the first war in its history. Maybe war isn't everything it's cracked up to be?

I keep seeing this "wordplay" where people will say..."the democratic ""HELD"" congress has a lower approval than Bush"... as opposed to just sayig "congress as a WHOLE has a lower approval rating". It's just wordplay.

However, when people are asked about just the democrats in congress.. their approval is 47%, with a 21% margin over republicans.

I'm 20 years old and got busted for my second underage in PA. On the 17th of August I'm driving back to school in Wyoming. I know for a fact my court date will be scheduled sometime in September (pleading not guilty).

So, would it be possible to go through the process of getting a new Wyoming license and sending my PA back in before the suspension goes into affect?

My dream is to be the president someday. I know that is a little far fetched, but it is my dream.
How does someone start their career in politics?
What do I major in, in college?
I'm only 17 but I would like to get some answers now because I am very curious about what I would have to do.
Thanks!

The Dems. took control of the house stating how they really wanted to make a difference because the Reps. did not. After years of talking about going green and better fuel standards for cars, the Dems. don't even attempt to take on the issue. They tackled the issue the same way the Reps. did, they pushed it aside because it was too hot to debate. Didn't we elect these people specifically to debate and legislate these issues?

Many Americans seem to forget that the war in Afghanistan is even going on right now. Afghanistan is in worse shape now than ever because our military is stretched so thin. I can't say I agree with how the war in Iraq is going and can't help but feel Afghanistan needs to be better controlled. 90% of the world opium production occurs in Afghanistan with the majority being imported to the US. If you ask me this form of terrorism has a greater impact on our citizen’s everyday lives. I know doing drugs in a personal choice and I'd never do drugs but most violence in our society stems from drug dealing or drug addiction. Thoughts?

My wife is undergoing medical treatment under a group health insurance plan thru my employer. I am the primary member and have designated her as a dependent under my coverage. I have been advised that despite HIPPA and privacy act requirements I am entitled to have access to her medical records without a signed waiver or release because the services were billed thru and paid by my insurance plan and as the primary member I have the the authority to review medical treatment for all dependents covered under my plan. Can anyone offer any comments on this?
