As a former Argentine death squad I must herald my outrage about what is going on on Argentina. An honorable chaplain, Christian Von Wernich, is accused of torture and crimes.I think this is the first time on History that this happens ( I´m not talking about childs abuse ). He was very useful to US and Argentine Giverments as he used to pose as "the good - one" as gave us information to figure out the net of Terrorists...
He was a good man also, He told us not to apply not more than 150 volts during torture.US Govt must defend him !

The news was talking about a state (Mass.) who wants to pass a law that states, fat people can sue for discrimination in a workplace if they feel they were discriminated against because they are obese or overweight (same as race, gender etc. laws). What do you think of this?
My opinion is people just dont want to take resposibility for themselves and make excuses by blaming others with frivilous lawsuits.

I was employed by my aunts boss to help out with his new resturant. However, now I am not working for them and he keeps giving me the run around on paying me. The problem is is that there was no paper work done... so really there is no evidence that I worked for him. Being that he was a friend of the family, I really didnt rush to get the papers done b/c it was a last minute job offer. What can be done to get my money for the time worked... I was a waitress for him and used someone elses log in number.

I have several video questions that I would like to submitt to the Republican Youtube debate in september. However, I cannot finish them until I find out the laws regarding broadcasting copyrighted information.

I am not interested in broadcasting copyrighted pictures or videos, but simply quotes, which would include an MLA-style footnote on the slide in which they are used, and a Bibliography MlA style citations page.

Would this kind of broadcast be considered for profit?

thanks!

Of course more people come to the US than leave but the ones leaving are some of the best minds and affluent people in america. I know some here will say dont let the door hit ya but that is irrisponsible and ignoring an alarming fact.
Of course a lot of third world people will come to the US but thats not an indication of greatness as the US is of course better than the third world countries with more opportunity.
People from 1st world industrialized nations are not flocking to the US in droves like those from Mexico and Iraqi refugees which America has a responsibility to provide for.

There's a guy who's posting pictures of children on a website for the 'entertainment' of Pedophiles . And I just watched a debate on the topic(btw debates are cool , and you can find them everyday on FoxNews) . Constitutionally , there's nothing the police can do . However it's clear that his actions will foster terrible thoughts and undoubtedly actions by Pedophiles . Children will be and are in danger .
Now , I see you guys defend the constitution with your lives all the time(many say they'd rather die than lose rights to protect us from terrorists) .

So , Mr. and Mrs. Constitutionalist --- Would you defend this guys right to do what he's doing ?

Does anybody think he'll earn the nomination and surprise us?

I like him much more than the front runners. He seems way more polished.

I applied for a job with a Police Dept in Arizona. However I failed the Polygraph section. In an attempt to be completly honest I admitted to experimenting with a narcotic once in 2004. AZPOST rules no hard drug use within 7 years. So now if I re-apply in 2011, what are my chances of being hired since I have nothing to hide?

I wrote a $500 check to a small car dealer for car deposit, but I was not given the receipt, later on I checked the carfax report and I was not happy with the condition of the car, so the following day, I asked my bank to stop the check.

Is it legal or illegal to stop the check?

Thanks for the answer.

Sure, capitalism is great in most circumstances, but do you really want to deal with people who's chief concern is making more money when your life is in danger?
If you ever saw the movie Gangs of New York, you saw what happened with privatized fire fighters. The actually fought over who would put out the fire when the house was burning. Do we really need that?

I just recieved a phone call stating that back in 1996 I recieved a ticket in Hondo, TX totalling $142.00 that I never paid for not wearing a seat belt. I do not remember this at all nor do I remember ever being in that part of texas. That was 11 years ago. After that long can they really make me pay it. I don't even live or go to that state! Does anyone know? Thanks!

What would really happen if the US pulled all the troops out of the Middle East?

I am honestly asking because I don't know anything about the politics of war. I really want to understand why the US doesn't just leave. I'm sure there must be a reason for this, and I'd like to know what it is.

I am genuinely asking with no agenda and nopreconcieved notions.

If you are going to be mean to me, or call me names, please don't answer.

If I walk into any emergency room in this nation with my hand cut off they will make sure that the bleeding is stopped and I receive an antibiotic to ward off infections saving my life .

Will they re attach the hand maybe not . Seems what people want are miracles .

When you have no insurance the fact is your loved one dies a few weeks and sometimes months before those with money or good insurance do .

The fact is though they are going to die anyhow .
Spending $300,000.00 on keeping them alive for a little bit longer just makes you feel good . It does nothing except delay the inevitable .

Poorer people should get use to the fact that they will always get the most cost effective treatments and that many lives are saved because doctors treat kids and children for little or no money and charge the rich high dollars to keep them going a few more weeks . They use that money to do the most good . Saving a 55 year old unemployed man with no future or insurance is a waste .

Global warming, universal healthcare, socialism, appeasement.....

THOSE are the pressing, urgent issues in this post-global cooling world.

Typical cons so concerned about protecting our nation when a tree hasn't been embraced in years.....
