People are emigrating to the US because they can't get a decent job in their country of origin. Well, why is that? Any ignorant idiot would think that it's probably because these people just want to feed off of the great economical system that we built in America.
Well, no. It's actually because NAFTA has allowed US companies to go across oceans and borders to saturate the job markets in other countries with low-paying factory jobs. Why stay in your country and make $100 dollars a month stitching Nikes together in a hot factory when you could come to America and wash the floor of an air condtioned Wal*Mart? They probably make more money doing it, too. I work at a restaurant where most of the people are immigrants from South American countries. One of them actually things Nike, Rebok, and Adidas are Peruvian companies. That's how prominent those jobs are where he's from.
People don't see the connection! When are people going to learn that the world will be a better place when those outside our contry aren't being paid garbage so that we could have running shoes and car parts. What's the point of doing this? Oh, you think you save money!?!? What a joke! The people who own these companies just pocket the difference! Open you freaking eyes! No pair of sneakers should cost $100; I don't care what pro-athlete endorses them.

I hope they are Liberals--80,000 Americans have moved to Calgary alone since 2000. The last thing I want to see is a pile of fleabags from Texas up here causing trouble. We are already the most Conservative province in Canada with virtually no taxes but a very high standard of living. Cro Magnons from the South or those with gun toting Nazi views of the world are not welcome.

In the US we have the freedom to stay or go. Having freedom to choose is a good thing. With 300 million people in the US, the number leaving is insignificant. I hope they are all liberals.
