I agree with you but I think the media have already picked who they want to win so he wont get as much time or support plus he doesn't have as much $ as the rest of them. Its a shame, I hope he at least picked for the VP by whoever does get the nomination.

I like him too but he won't win the primary and he won't be invited to be on a ticket even. He's from a small state (Delaware) and usually candidates from big states carry a big wave from their home state. Biden also has a problem with long diatribes and he loses people in a world of sound bites... the media is not interested in talking to a candidate unless they can make a quick sound bite. He has gotten better at this but he can't shake it either.
He also has some minor skeletons in his closet... he has been accused of plagiarism but it was awhile back.

I have all ways liked him and will vote for him. He is a real statesman, and know foreign policy. He has my vote, I ve had enough of the Clinton's & Bush's time for some new blood. I think Biden and Obama would be an excellent team or Biden and whom ever. He would bring the country more together also.

The problem with Biden is he absolutely has no shot. He's run before, and he's never had any shot. He tends to put is foot in his mouth and doesn't come across well when he's under close scrutiny. Here's an idea: we (fellow democrats) have a clear front runner. She (oops! I gave it away!) is polling very well right now against any republican. She has been a terrific senator from a major state, and is married to someone who is the most qualified presidential advisor in the world. Why not get behind her?

So far, although I agree with you that Joe Biden seems to be the moste sensible candidate, I don't think he is going to be the Democratic Party's nominee.

So you can't see the writing on the wall?
The election has already been decided, Hillary Clinton is our next president.
Its funny how people are acting like this isn't going to happen, the media is already behind her as well as all the lobbyists her and her husband wooed during his 8 year strech as president. Notice all the bashing (the media) have been doing to Obama? Its because they don't want him to appear as though he can win.
The American people will, again, be dragged along through the election, with the false belief that their vote matters. Clinton/Edwards in 2008, god help us. (Although it will have to be better than Bush, but then again that isn't saying much).

Biden is great, but doesn't seem to have any national clout. He often puts his foot in his mouth. But of the democrats, I like him the most. He is truthful about Iraq and his idea to divide the country in three is brilliant.
