There's much less money to be made from love than from hate. That's why Jesus was a poor working stiff rather than a Gucci-loafer-wearing charlatan like Pat Robertson.

Gandhi was a smart man. He actually lived a more Christian life than most Christians i know. I would reiterate his statement. I like everything that Jesus stood for, love thy fellow man, turn the other cheek (although this is very hard), help the needy. Unfortunately the words of this wise man were distorted abundantly and used to hold sway over the Christian peoples.

Ilconservative, it is not hatred it is disgust and it is not irrational it is fact based.

interesting comment

I am waiting for the question.

I think Gandhi was an amazing man. Anyone who thinks otherwise might know something I don't. I'm not an expert on his life but he lived what he believed.

I additionally think Gandhi could not discern God Incarnate and redeemed man, hense the comment. However fallen man, forgiven striving to live rightly is better than fallen man just living for himself.

It's like that for most religions tho, right? I definitly agree tho. It has nothing to do with human error. Many people have choices and CHOOSE to do wrong, and then blame it on being human. I think seeing the hipocracy in so many christians is what is turning our nation's youth away from religion. We have respect for people that do good, not people that say theyre religous, and therefor, good.

If Gandhi actually said that, then I agree with him. If he didn't say it, I agree with whoever said it.

I once read this: "If Jesus returned to Earth today and saw what was being done in his name he would never stop vomiting."

I agree with that too!

Christianity is about acceptance, compassion, and love. The right is the most judgemental, self-righteous group of people I have ever spoken/listened to. Ghandi was right!

i agree. ghandi was a wise man. there are sooooo many christians who go after one another, hurt each other and just don't love the way christ loved all. they are out for 1 person and one person only. themselves

Then Gandhi dies and his country got worse. Great job Gandhi, way to go buddy. Hope you're happy about pushing all those people into poverty.

(although you were on to something with the Christ, Christian thing...)

I agree with Ghandi.

Many who claim to follow Jesus the Christ ignore the core of his teachings, and focus instead on what some of Jesus's followers chose to promote.

I like your Gandhi, but I don't like Hindus. They are nothing like Gandhi.
