You should have a broad range of classes in college. Some of the classes that you should take are political science, history, economics, foreign relations, and business. Get involved in politics starting right now. Go visit your local party offices and volunteer. The more contacts you have the better you will be when it is your time to run for office.

Work on political campaigns, now is a good time with the 08' pres election. I worked at the Hill one Summer. Every Congressperson has young people that work for them as interns. You can also be what is called a page. Later on you can be hired as regular staff. You can also go the local or state route.

Its not a bit far fetched, its a bit difficult, but to start off, you need to get a career with law, you'll have to go to law school,
but in the mean time, find programs or internships that focus in that category, in college, you'll probably need to major in political science.

I think you can major in political science, then public administration. Get involved in campus politics and fundraising too. You can also volunteer withing the county, city or state, then you can intern as well. Most politicians were lawyers or studied law. Good luck! You can do anything you set your mind to! Cliche, but true!

You can start off by learning the art of bullshit. Politicians are good at being backstabbing, 2-faced weasels who lie, cheat, and pander for votes. (Heeeellllooo 2008 election season)
In college, major in Political Science and get into student government. Be as active in the government scene as possible and consider attending city council meetings, etc. Put yourself out there. Just stay focused, pay attention to what others are aware of, and as I said, learn the art of bullshitting. If you're too nice in politics you'll get eaten alive.

Go to your neighbor's house, walk in uninvited and start telling everyone how they're going to live their lives. Then force them to give their money to any other neighbor's who don't have as much money as they do. Then take your own cut as a service fee.
Use some of that money to purchase a car so you can continue doing this and increase your profits.
It will also be useful to lie a lot.
This will get you started off quite nicely.
But I'm tired of all this BS which is why I'm voting for Ron Paul.
