What does a 28% approval rating tell us about president Bush and what does it tell us about the republican party congressmen and senators who have for the most part rubber stamped all of Bush's agenda?

Secondary question: If 75% of american people are unhappy about our being in Iraq and if most of those want an orderly U.S. pullout soon, why are the democrats so sheepish about cutting funds to a war that the american people do not support? will they stick to their guns this next round of funding debate and insist on an orderly systematic planned withdrawal in exchange for funding?

This morning I've asked three questions - one of which was an intentionally bear-baiting question to the conservative right - two of which were about terrorist procurement of nuclear devices (Pakistan - near future and Iran - distant future). The bear-baiting question received more responses than the questions that were based on serious issues. It's odd that a question that defies reality warrants more responses than one that is based in reality. Any thoughts?

Let's get this straight. No one spit on the troops. No one. I came home twice from over seas between 1969 and 1975 and not one person spit on me. For some reason the Vietnam Vets like to tell all who will listen they were spit upon. Spitting never happened. This is an urban Legend. Lies! No one would be rude enough to walk up and spit. Now do you understand no one was spit upon?

According to most of the Liberals' logic: If you support Democrat, you should be taxed at least 50% of what you earned. You fought in Bosnia or Somalia and ready to enlist UN peace Missions. Right?

Cindy Sheehan has said that she will run as an independent against Nancy Pelosi in 2008 if she doesn't introduce articles of impeachment against Bush. As many of you here know, I am certainly no Bush supporter. However, I think that it would be unrealistic to expect him to be impeached and convicted. After all, the majority of the House of Representatives would have to vote to impeach Bush. After that, at least 2/3 of the Senate would have to be present for Bush's trial. Of the Senators who are present, 2/3 would then have to vote to convict Bush. Considering the fact that the Democrats hold the majority in both houses of Congress by a very slim margin, how realistic do you think it would be to expect Bush to actually be convicted?

Writing comes easy to me so I signed up to work as an essaywriter for a couple bucks--I mean literally, a couple bucks.

Anyhow, one of the writings I completed 100% of is now popular with the customer's name as the writer. Although the customer purchased the writing, ($4 a page) none of the input was theirs, 100% of the writing was mine, do I have any legal rights whatsoever?

Just the fact that the awarded writer didn't write it would to me seem someone would have some recourse? Would the publisher have recourse if they found it was me not the credited writer who actually wrote the piece?

ex-employee starts own business, then decides to start calling established customers informing them he is now in business and will charge less than the ex-employer, apparently stole customer info from ex-employer. should ex-employer make report to immigration that this ex-employee has filed for citizneship, got his green card through an arranged marriage, divorced after receiving green card, has a common law wife and one child that are illegal, one child is a u.s. citizen and he is evading the state attorney general in order to avoid a DNA test for a child from another woman. all are facts no assumptions.

As an American who likes a good laugh, I feel I must ask this question.

Why do Brits hold on to old Monty Python and BBC Sunday night pseudo-comedies? Most Brits can quote old episodes verbatim, but it gets really old hearing them spew "are we having spam?" again and again and again.

My friend needed money and his bank was closed, so his roommate wrote me a check, I cashed it and gave it to my friend. Within the past week I have discovered that my friend actually stole the check from his roommate and made it out to me. I was completely unaware of what happened until this past week. His roommate is pressing charges for several checks that were also taken. Am I guilty of anything here?
