Well, it seems unlikely that THIS Congress will do anything but hold more hearings and pass more non-binding resolutions, but maybe we will elect more competent legislators next time around. We can hope...

As long as the Administration continues with it's disdain for the Constitution and attempts to usurp the powers of the other branches of government there is a need for hearings and investigations. Alas, they will likely continue until after the next election and after the Bush Administration is gone.

It is the responsibility of the Legislative branch to have oversight over the Executive branch so the Executive branch does not evolve into a dictatorship. Part of that oversight involves investigation and hearings. Neocons throw Clinton in our faces and had no problem spending countless hours and millions of dollars investigating a president's Trieste with a bimbo but they howl like Banshees when it comes to the investigation of their neocon president and his team.

Nope, Nancy and Harry will do nothing at all if they can help it. Their whole plan to remain in power is to do nothing and continue to attack Bush at every opportunity. Your tax dollars at work friends. Boot the lot of them! Vote no to incumbants on both sides of the aisles.
