No wonder at all. He scared a bunch of weak people and they voted him in. Fear if fed can be a mighty tool. A man that represents a great country as ours should be far more eloquent in his speaking.

No. Not really. If you are unimpressed with his public speaking skills, you might wanted to consider what it was that enough people saw in him that made them want to vote for him.

Was it issues? Was it character? Were the other options much worse? Was it a better political machine? Or do you believe that the election was rigged?

Absolutely. A good president is one that has a good staff behind him and is a good public face for the country. A president that cannot properly pronounce nuclear is ridiculous. The fact that his staff has not corrected this and other blatant errors is even more absurd.

I've asked some folks who I know for a fact voted for him and the answer was the more-or-less the same: "Lesser of two evils."

As in, "Bush sucks, Gore sucks, but Gore sucks more than Bush." Same deal in '04: "Bush sucks, Kerry sucks, but Kerry sucks more than Bush."

Not to say that I agree with that logic but that was the answer I got.

Ever wonder is this a communication problem?
Will it not be embarassing in running down a head of state in one's own country in self exposing who is the moron?
Ever wonder who count himself short?

Could be worse. Kerry or Gore could have been President. Who knows maybe before I die the democrats will actually nominate a candidate i can vote for.

No. OK, so he is not the best speaker. He does try to do things and he gives me a laugh watching him. He is human like most of the rest of us. You do not have to like him but as my old nun use to say, "If you don't have something nice to say, say nothing." Peace
