What in god's name does your project have to do with this website, unless the popup I'm blocking it something nefarious?
As for England, it's a crap hole, ruined by ten years of Labour rules, politic correctness gone insane, politicions and authorities willfully cheating systems and massaging figure to try and fool us that everything is rosy.
W have the worst underage / unmarried mums problem in the world, children have no manners, no respect and want everything on a plate. Half of them, in their hoodie tops are little more that rabid animals vandalising for fun and attacking / preying on anyelse they consider vulnerable - usually 'for a laugh'
then there's the drink problem, exasperatted by binge drinkers - women are the worst - and drugs out of control.
On the plus side we have the NHS...
which is falling to bits due to incompetance and mismanagement
And we have:
Help me out here, I'd stuck for good things to say about a country that's rotten to the core...
IMO Tony Blair and his cronies screwed this country, while they milked it for what they could.

UK is a beautiful land. Well UK used to be cool but its going downhill. Alot of people here seem to have selfish interest and not care about others or the society which is now reflected among the yobs and young trouble makers.
Alot of females go into binge drinking as well as the males which is seen as normal. I think some part of the population feel other races or cultures as well as nationalities are inferior to them which is a big problem.
I have also noticed that alot of people these days seem to be highly educated but yet so ignorant to other aspects of life.
There is also a great society pressure and thereby causing people to not have fun in normal ways. An example is laughing while conversating on the train or bus can get you funny looks. Absolute sience should be observed at all times.
I think the government policies has taken away fun from people's life. This has made more people fustrated, miserable, loosing their normal good manners and making alot of people hot heads easily.
But the education system here is excellent. 2nd to none. Maybe the difference is that america is not really xenophobic. However life goes on so no big deal. Could be worse.
If UK can get a good leader, things will change for better.

Sad picture,isnt it?
Its no lie to say that densely populated countries are
the worst;(but then ive heard that japan has little crime,
if true).
Crime and poverty are a direct result; the mass
majority governments whether Right or Left have not
been bold enough to tackle the rising numbers.
And this,as ive said, gives rise to the worst things in a
society.
One might say that its the collapse-of-an-empire;this could
well be true.
And "mass"societal values and norms have taken-a-hold;
massive variations in living-space,open country versus
roads and cities; too many people on much welfare- breeding suspicion and envy.
And a strange love-of-groups,eg "unions" ,political so-called
"parties"ect.
And the lack-of associated morality has an effect on crime,
and later how the police are thought-of- itys no wonder that
they can hardly "cope",with what i have said before!
So lets hope for a better future for Britain.

Racist British Police have a Filthy reputation for Stiching people up .
British Magistrates Courts have a Filthy reputation for finding everybody "GUILTY".
I read the story on:
www.angelfire.com/in4/morality
I noticed when Perjury was committed, when police officers told lies, the Magistrates didn't do anything about it. And then the IPCC and the Inspector investigating the complaint against the police simply White Washed it.
British Politicians openly admit they have no respect for Human Rights.
The British have the Government they desrve.
The British are too much of Cowards to do anything about the mess in their contry.

Everyone believes so strongly that they are someday going to win the lottery.
Teenage pregnancy is ridiculous, there are so many dole bashers, people claiming sick money earning more than what i am a week (yet they can still go out get stoned and use drugs)
Britain.
Its shite to be frank.
Theres too many people who dont care and think everything is given on a plate.
The people who do work, however, and who do pay their way are nice people :) like myself
hehe
but honest, a very lazy place.. and it is now swarming with CHAVS who wear rock climbing coats in the summber time with their socks tucked over their pants...
its ridiculous.
there are some nice people tho.. x

That is a huge question and I'd like to help - what is the focus of your project? Maybethat would narrow it down so people can give more specific answers.

Its a wonderful country but we get screwed left, right and centre. This Country/Government seems to have made a career out of being on the dole (government handouts), these people have more than i do - i'm stupid enough to work. We are increasingly unable to own our own homes partly because of immigration (over 600,000 Polish in the last couple of years) and then there are the greedy rich who buy 2nd/3rd homes. Violent crimes are on the increase with more and more young people dying because of our gun and knife culture. But on the upside, its a beautiful country, we do have opportunities available to us and even though the government is screwing us , we are certainly not poor.

Britain is riddled with problems.
Too many crimes, too many acts of Parliament that cross and cancel each other out.
We have a knife and gun culture which is sadly taking too many young lifes
We are a nanny state.
Media is seen as a main source of information rather than facts and real life.
We are not all posh and speak with a silver spoon in our mouths. There are so many different accents and ways of life in England that no one seems to discover. Everyone thinks we talk like the Queen! (i certainly don't!)
We are not all race hating people, it just takes one comment from someone to taint a country.
We have strange weather, but we live with it
We have opportunities to further ourselves - educationally and personally
We have a weird sense of humour but i guess everyone does
We're just like everywhere else, we have problems, we overcome things, we say stupid things, we have tragedies and we try to survive everyday as who we want to be.

Read 1984 by George Orwell and change the date to 2007.
That will give you a pretty good idea,
Or read a Clockwork Orange by Burgess.
