I think for me it was the Hurricane Katrina fiasco. The media coverage conditioned the American people that it was ok to lock up other Americans in concentration camps with no food and water in a time of crisis.

First she refuses to admit she was wrong to vote for authorizing the war. She still won't admit it, and now she doesn't even support setting a troop withdrawal date, which got her booed by a group of liberal Democrats

Why is Hillary, who conservatives often incorrectly label as a socialist, so conservative when it comes to the Iraq War? And how does she have so much support among Democrats even though the majority disagree with her stance on this critical issue?

The laws now exist in the form of 2 Bills The new Presidential directive and the Homeland security directive

That Bush has the responsibility (durring an emergency) to run all three branchs of government through the secratary of Homeland security - suspend elections - and ensure the continuation of constitutional government when the emergency has passed

-------------------------------

The definition of emergency is rather broad and open to interpratation as well

Nonetheless Bush has done it - the legal power to stay in office should an emergency occur it there -

Will he go or will he stay

there does not seem to be much of a deterant to hard criminals, and our jails are full to rioting point, so should long term inmates have their sentences put out to tender to the rest of the world, and the sentece be served where the .cheapest tender comes from. it would save us hard working tax payers quite alot of money.and it makes for good buisness. no dought some peop[le will think this is a sound idea and some will say that it is not fair or proper. what do you think

Printed in 1592 it explaines how as subjects of Gods Ordained Majefty we owe all our life and existence to our Lord and Ruler.

So The book spells all the "s's" with a "f" that would make Bush Bufh

If elected in 08 I will lift this demand of Government worship and allow Americans the free will to life as they please.

I have read that to potentially locate terrorists, or, stop terrorist activities from occuring in the U.S., that, the NSA now routinely uses sophisticated data mining and expert systems with massive compiled databases on a myriad of routine activities we all do...internet activity, phone records, credit records, purchasing behavior, e-mails, etc.

Assuming this is true, is it ok to enable our government to stop terrorism from occuring?

Even if our new data driven age allows this to occur, is it something that we should do, but perhaps put limits on how government agencies might use such data. What do you think?

about someones political stance? I asked a previous question asking about the upside to being in iraq? I was told to stop being a lberal and to think for myself. I'm 46 and have voted republican since the age of 18, that hardly qualifies me as a liberal, and the fact that I am reflecting on the wisdom of the policies of my own party hardly implies that I do not think for myself.

I think that they want our soldiers over there so they don't have to work so hard to take control of their own country. Is the Iraqi government still planning to take that superlong vacation while our soldiers fight for their safety???
