Hi Everyone

Can you help me.

I am a Committee member of my local Royal British Legion social club.

My question is:

When you are made a Honorary Vice Chairman/President of a social club, what rights do you have at a Committee meeting?

Can you still attend all Committee meetings?
Can you join in with the Committee in discussions?
Are you allowed to vote at a Committee meeting?

What are you allowed to do as a Honorary Vice Chairman/President at a Committee meeting?

Best Regards

Jock.

Why are there protests to the G-8 summit?

Isn't it an effort to help people in need?

I'm not leaning one way or the other. I'm not even on the fence really.

Intelligible answers only, please.

Fred Thompson has more experience in his little finger than Barack Obama .
Thompson served about 8 years as a Senator , coupled with significant other duties . Obama has about 2 years or so as a Senator .

Isn't This Ugly Bias ?

And Lord above , what excuse could the left fabricate for this ?

Does anyone think that people who abort their children even believe in God?
I am not just speaking of those who commit the act, but those who support the death of life.

Here's an idea for what to do about stem cells. If the genetic parents of an embryo both agree it's OK, then let those particular embryos be used for the research with federal funds. If I have to pay for creating an embryo, then it's mine and I should be able to decide how it should be used. There is no ethical boundary crossed by allowing federal funding, because it is my embryo. If you don't want your embryo to be used, then it won't be. Seems more practical than government approved 'ethics'.

We live by an ex labour councilman and for a few years he has used constant complaining to any official bodies he can contact to harass neighbors out of the area. He's been Harassing us in this fashion for a couple of years now and so far only about 1 of the hundreds of complaints made have been upheld so we are wondering if we have a case for harassment against him.

(Last week on Hannity + Colmes),,
"You know Fred, Rudy's numbers are up there".
WHAT !!!!!!
What's the matter with Hannity ?
Does he think, he can scare Fred out of the race.
He must think Fred is stupid.
Hannity is living proof, you don't need to be smart. To make it BIG....... in radio.

america for a long time now has had a illegal alien problem, its does'nt matter now who's in office or what she did or he did, something has to be done? throwing illegals back into their countrys with their teenage anchor babys is not a pretty sight and its not going to make us look good. WE made this problem, WE have to solve it...
1) what can(orshould) the goverment do?
2)what can you do personally about it?
yeah i'm pointing fingers at you and at me.. because we did nothing.. we are all at fault.

Okay so Sprint put all these optional shyt like vision pack service and etc i didnt even ask for and I got charged like $200 a month and i told them i never wanted them but they said stuff like someone else must have gotten into ur account and changed ur plan and we're sorry but there is nothing we can do about it. I got so mad and this shyt kept happening so I decided to terminate the contract with $200 fee. you know what they are telling me now? okay so when I signed my contract, I had to pay $125 as a deposit bcuz im not a us citizen but they said ill get it back as the contract ends so I paid. However, they are saying i cannot get the deposit back because im terminating my contract.. are they serious? i mean u pay deposit bcuz u dont have credit in the us but u get it back in the end no matter what the situation is, right? i even agreed to pay the $200 termination fee without any compain.

as an Englishman who returned home this morning from a business trip to the USA, i feel i must ask this. Most Americans have Rechargable brains which need recharging every 3 hours, this leads to the many well documented problems that Americans have with "real life".I say Hug an American , its not their fault.

In essence, I would miss the date of my test. But am I allowed to take my advancement test elsewhere, like a MEPS or recruiter's office? It isn't emergency leave, TAD, or Deployment, just plain old, "I wanna go on Vacation leave."

I applied for a position at a hospital. During the period of time I was waiting to hear back regarding my start date, I found another job that was a little closer to home for the same pay. I started paperwork at the new job and while that was going through, I informed my boss at the first place that I may only be availabe per diem, which he didn't have a problem with.
He actually put me on the schedule and started working me a bit. As it turned out, my application was rejected by the second job, so I called my boss and told him I wanted to change my status to full time. This was Thursday afternoon. He agreed to make me full time, on the condition that I request it in writing. I left the written request on his desk over the weekend, and he got it Monday morning. Tuesday morning, when I came to work, he told me he hired someone else because he thought I was going to change my mind again.
Can he hire someone else after promising the position to me?? What are my employee rights??
