1. Insist that our government grant law enforcement the power to prosecute companies who knowingly employ illegal aliens.
This will dry up the market of cheap labor and encourage immigrants to do one of two things: A. Become a citizen or B. Return to their home country.
2. Report any and all illegal aliens to INS.

There is an easy solution.
We buy Mexico, Guatamala, Belize, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. and make them part of the United States. That should cost about 10 million USD.
We now have a very narrow southern border to Columbia to patrol. Immigration control is now easy. But the Canadian border is still a problem, and we can't afford to buy Canada.
Instead, we sell the United States to Canada. for 10 trillion USD. This eliminates the Canadian border, and it is no longer a problem. Our Columbian Border is now patrolled by Canada, so we don't have to worry about it at all.
This also solves the medical problems in the US because Canada has socialized medicine.
I get 1% of the 10 trillion for having the idea.

These people, the illegal immigrants, no matter how you slice, dice or toss it, have broken US laws. That should NEVER be overlooked. To give them any kind of amnesty is just absurd!
If a US citizen breaks the law in a state other than their home state...guess what....YOU STILL BROKE THE LAW...and now you must pay the fine!
Round them up, send them home and build a really thick BRICK wall!

What so many are trying to get us to forget about. Is the word, "ILLEGAL". I don't wish any hardship on those that have come to this Country, through legal channels. But to just allow someone to make an exception. When so many others have done it the right way? Not on my watch.

Businesses started the problem, not the average American. They wanted cheap labor without having to give benefits such as health insurance. The U.S. doesn't look bad, Vincente Fox looks bad because his people are coming here while he does nothing for Mexico to make it livable for his own people and then criticizes us for treating HIS people badly.

Typical bleeding heart liberal reaction. I did not do anything wrong. I have been against illegal aliens for 50 years. There are two problems. 1. Illegal aliens broke our immigration laws. There is no excuse for that. We have legal aliens who did not break our laws. 2. Our government has not enforced our laws. Even after 9/11 and years of continual efforts, we cannot get our elected officials to stop the illegal immigration. People have been trying to vote in representatives who promise to take a stand against illegal immigration. Look at John McCain's poll numbers. Because of his stand against border security, his candidacy for president is about done.

Good honest question. I believe we should give all the illegal immigrants that are already here amnesty. Then we should really make strict border security for Mexico and Canada. I dont mean building a wall and not finishing it either.

It's not problem if you ignore it. If it wasn't on the news you probably wouldn't know or care. Kind of like how you don't really give **** that their countries' when your government created free trade agreements so that the people had to buy food/resources at over inflated prices. Now they don't earn enough to live in their own country so they have to go to the U.S where wages are higher.
